Theres been free transfers off before for this. If they give them again now will you take the transfer to a lower pop server? If no, then yes you willfully do get yourself into this.

How can you tell how many people are on a server? Or is the only way just seeing if its full or medium?
I think everyone kind of has a point.
Why would you not give large queue servers a limited-time option to change servers?

I’d go back Ally but I have to spend a few million before transfer.
Just want to play with buds again though, I actually love 52 for prices and population, just expansion weeks the only downside.

It was reported cuz ir was spam. 4747489595955 people from his server have been spamming the forums non stop crying about it since launch.
No idea, since the post was removed. I’m saying it doesn’t surprise me that he’s having posts reported and removed, especially from the customer service forums, since he’s just here to trash talk blizzard.
I think free transfers for a week would be a good idea.
I don’t think everyone will take it, as they might wait to see if others leaving makes it bearable again.
This is just what happens with older games unfortunately. People try to congregate in one place because their old server was dead. Eventually one server just becomes huge.
I don’t think customer support will be able to give you a decision that has to be made by the top dogs though…
Edit: there is precedence for free transfers for numerous reasons. I believe we have had them from full to new servers in the past and I know we’ve had them from Us to OCE.

Im on a full server on my main and I can in and play just fine. My wife is leveling right now though. Its funny you’ll attack me for posting on the forums though as if that’s actually a good insult lol.
okay yeah pay $25 each to switch my characters to another server or waste time playing old content on a new server instead of the new content I paid to experience with the characters I’ve invested time into

Because there is no problem. You literally chose to role on the most populated realm.
Also Blizz recognizes that this won’t last.
How long have you been on area 52? Longer than one expansion? If so you’ve lived through this before. You’ll live. The people I know on Illidan that has this problem just played the alts they made years ago for this exact purpose. Instead area 52 is en mass crying on the forums.
what should they do? expand area-52 for a few weeks and then watch as the hardware they bought goes to waste because its not needed after that? Queues will go down, stop your complaining 
They can use resourcer from another servers with less population and I don’t know if are living in this era, but right now the servers are all on cloud. You can escalate servers on live, that way you don’t have big queues and you only pay for what you use. No need to have a waste when less people is playing or something like that…
Area 52 here fam, I got into the queue like an hour ago.

I paid hundreds of dollars to move my horde from a low pop realm to a full realm. But I wasn’t dumb enough to move to mega server. I can still play. It’s a choice we all make. Part of being on area 52 is all the people and good economy right? All the people are now in queue. You stay there for a reason. You guys will also be the first crying to be able to move back for free once the population dies down. Stop expecting handouts for a choice you’ve made.
