You just described their job exactly and then called it “mind reading” and “soothsaying.” They have all the data at their greedy little fingertips needed to forecast exactly what the load is likely to be on each server. You can certainly access it once you have transferred off to get back, not sure how you fail to understand that.
If not having access is enough of a inconvenience that OP is looking to refund and quit the game it is obviously important enough for a single $20 transaction.
Neither is complaining about it. At least we offered a solution, even if it is one you don’t particularly like the concept of.
But literally the only choices you have are a) sit in a queue for hours or b) play on a different server.
You choose one solution and you act on it. At least temporarily transferring allows you to still get progress on the character you want it on.
we shouldnt have to pay 25$ a toon to play a game we paid, and continue to PAY for, your logic is flawed stop posting the same useless crap as the other smoothbrains

Oh i waited in queue, I made the choice to play on a high pop server. but what you said is that it was everyone’s choice, which it wasn’t. So to make the argument that everyone is laying in their own bed that they made is incorrect.
Transfers arent an option for everyone, and no one should be expected to pay 50$ to transfer away to play and transfer back. That’s asking a lot of people.
What your suggesting is treating symptoms. You have a cold. So you take anti congestion meds and try to pretend that it’s not there. But the cold is still there. There is still a problem that needs to be fixed.
Im here to talk with the community, no whinning. You can read my responses, I dont throw insults and I shame others for doing so. You could be plaing right now instead of commenting here. You like interacting with the community just like me. So lets talk about the game we both love.
I understand youre trying to offer solutions to off set the problem and I appreciate that. I’m just asking you to think about people who dont have the funds to avoid the problem, and to think of the dedicated fans like yourself that feel that these servers are their home and dont want to be driven off their land.

There is no way they didn’t know this was going to be a huge problem. They know all the numbers for these servers. They know how many unique accounts are creating characters on these servers. They could have opened up free transfers at any time. Now the best solution to play my main is pay 25 dollars to transfer it off the server, then another 25 dollars to transfer it back when it’s fixed. So effectively I’m going to pay 110 dollars to play my main in Shadowlands. If shadowlands came out and it had a retail price of 110 dollars…would any of you buy it?

Stormrage isn’t bigger than Area52 BTW. Otherwise it would have a queue.
The queue is measurement enough of which server has the most players.
Stormrage is only the Alliance-Alt realm for people maining horde on A52.
