…because the OG DK was an orc? (…an orc’s soul placed into a human body, but that’s still an orc.)

that particular orc is one of the few dead npc that is a seasoned as a player in terms of combat experience that hasn’t been exploded or other wise left in a state unfit to be raised. plus hes a absolute unit of badassry

Naz’grim’s such a great horseman though! He’s so enthusiastic about his work.
There’s death knights out there from every race. Both Lich King’s didn’t particularly care about that. Orcs are very capable people. Naz’grim was a veteran general, a great fighter and strategist, totally loyal. Solid traits for a horseman.
