You have just described exactly why this happens, since the dawn of World of Warcraft many have unestimated, doubted and laughed at the Murlocs. They have all paid the price for such folly–the forests of Elwynn echo with the solmen cries of those foolhardy enough to think they could just run right over Murlocs.
