Why is a angry little random lizard our final aotc/ce boss of season 2. Should it be Neltharion instead? The story writing of this expac is terrible imo.
Sigh.

This is probably bait, but uh…
Neltharion’s been dead for over a decade now, my guy.
Hes literally a boss in season 2, “embers of neltharion”. Sorry his “shadow”
neltharion is dead. He’s been doused by the maelstrom after his face melted and they built a suit to contain him.
basically Star Wars with dragons.
Oh my god…I’ve never realized this, HE IS
He’s a boss, yes, but not actually Neltharion, it’s an echo of him. You’re calling the writing terrible while not even understanding it.
The final boss for Abberus has been popping up as an antagonist constantly this expansion. Expansions always get new villains, I’m not sure why this is even a surprise unless you’re flat out too young to remember other expansions. If anything, they’re saving more Neltharion/Deathwing stuff for the final raid, why would they use him as an AOTC boss for the first major patch raid of the expansion?
This expac story telling is weird af.
just wait until we uncover the Jailer’s laboratory underneath Ironforge…
I believe you, i just am not impressed with the season 2 aotc boss. Raszageth was pretty good imo
Oh please no don’t wish that on us! D:
Magni became a diamond, you can spell diamond without di…, just don’t pay attention to the…e
YOU DO THE MATH!
Terrible writing would be to keep bringing dead characters back, cheapening the permanence of death. SL did that enough; it’s time to stop.
Neltharion is dead dead. We literally deleted him from existence at the end of cataclysm. We obliterated his very soul (or it was already obliterated by the Void), so there’s absolutely nothing left of him at all, hence why not even a tiny fragment of his soul was anywhere to be found in the Shadowlands.
If there was anything left of Neltharion’s soul, it probably would have been found somewhere in the Maw.
To be fair it’s a fantasy game where we have giant squid monsters and dragons all talking to us all the time. WoW’s been a weird story since its inception.
OP complaining about the storytelling and probably hasn’t bothered to read any of the quest text.
Dies.
Gets rezzed for the billionth time.
Complains about cheapening of death.
I do get what you’re saying. Just admiring the irony.
DH players with the great takes as usual.
It’s better than the last two dumpster fires we’ve had. It’s not perfect but it’s a massive step in the right direction.
