What were they thinking putting LoH BACK in arena…such a dumb idea. they aready have heals and bubbles…WHY???
That is a great thing… it triggers forbearance so it’s a choice to make and paladins as-is are one of the weakest classes in the meta.

Lay on Hands is actually not that great. It’s reduced to 75% and is also affected by dampening and mortal strikes (and any with similar effects). Funny thing is, I’d consider Lay on Hands not to be as strong as it seems compared to what other healing spells are capable of doing and have been doing these past seasons. Not only that, but it causes forberance thus locking paladins out of their other “major” defensive their Divine shield. With priests being one of the more picked classes in the current season makes that spell pretty bad as well because of the less than a second mass dispel priests can have.

what i meant was there is no reason LoH should be in the arena. Even with damper and foreberance it is still too strong. i have seen it heal for upwards 200k and be the reason they win. the counter to this should have been make divine protection reduce healing done/received and damage done/received down to 30% from immune.
if this is justified and with all the new damper times and variations of mortal strikes…why not let spirit pet healing for a hunter be a thing or give Exhiliration a real buff? asking for a friend
Ret and Hpal are below average. Gimmicky at best. Hpal needs help the most.
not gonna argue there…Hpal definitely needs help but ret still one shots and if you live threw the burst, the constant damage and fact they are so mobile is reason enough they should not have another save me button. i feel the same way for life swap for priests being back. no reason for them

I’ve seen LOH heal for 40k. Talk about feeling bad. Using a 7 minute cooldown that is suppose to do 75% of your hp as a heal. Putting yourself or someone else on forbearance, and it does nothing.
I’ve had a few games where using battle master and LOH on a teammate has won us the game, but I’ve had way more games where using LOH cost me a game.
Especially in shuffle, with the amount of crazy high MS affects and the dampening. After about 1.5 minutes using that button is a liability. BoP or blind/stun are probably going to be more affective buttons to use.
Good troll though with the healing, mobility, sustain damage, and defensive points lol. They do have some of the highest burst, but it is also some of the most telegraphed. I suspect there are some rather large changes coming to ret in the future.

With the amount of healing all other classes can do, LoH is not even on my list of things to be worried about.

I agree. It’s a completely trash ability. Get rid of this garbage and give me pain supp, or dispersion or even guardian spirit. I’ll even take the Focused Will passive. Even the nerfed version.
