Could be they have to integrate the new servers into the infrastructure that host the BGs. As well as set up the battlegroups and verify they are working properly, making sure that you get sent to the proper BG from the queue.

They say 3pm pst so when the servers go up at noon people will be able to trickle back on instead of blowing up the login server

Because, recalibrating the flux capacitor takes time.

It’s a major change. There will be software and hardware changes to make as well as active testing.

Its the keyring. requires a lot of configurating.

They have to prevent side wobbling and install a lunar wane modulator, the recabulator demands these things be updated.
