Wow that’s a lot of effort to put in for a necro

BTW those stats are lifetime btw.

You haven’t pvped enough in BGs to even allow for a proper sample size… The most times you entered a BG was 22 times which was Twin Peaks 38% win rate.

You cannot use statistics to prove your Narrative when the sample size is so ridiculously low!

Play 100 games and lets see that %%%

So what stats should we use? The ones you decide on?

Win rate is win rate

We can only use the Win rate stats from January to March during while mercury is in retrograde.

You can calculate to determine proper sample size. Would even 100 games be statistically adequate or would it over-sensitize the results?

It would be more feasible then 22

Possibly, but without calculating what an adequate sample size would be, anyone’s guess is as good as any. It may not even be statistically spot-on but it can be a good snapshot.

No, I agree, but a numerical even denomination based on 1%-100% win rate I would require at minimum 100 games?

Without including the other variables, 100 could be fair. If those stats were from the OP, I wonder how much changed since they made this 5 months ago.

It also includes WoD which Alliance had the advantage for most of the expansion, for instance. Also quits don’t count as losses either. I guess what I’m saying is there is no real reliable metric. While it’s fun to look at, using that as “reliable statistics relevant to the discussion” isn’t exactly a reliable source. I’m just saying.

It’s like saying we’re not in a heat wave because it was 40 degrees in 2006.

Pretty ironic that there are few reliable metrics yet we get all this “data”. Data that can be tainted in all sorts of ways. Makes you wonder what value it adds.

I know for a fact that soloqueueing as Alliance at 120 is basically asking for punishment. Regardless of what others on the forum say about their personal win rates, I’m pretty sure if Blizzard were to release BFA only BG numbers, they would be something like 75%-25% in Horde favor.

I quit any BG’s about a month ago on all my toons.

Reflex is the most reliable.

Yeah there’s that but a lot of people probably don’t use it. The game itself needs to be better about it.

Okay but it’s still the best way to show how you do.

It even shows time stamps for those who fall back on afking to skew w/l ratios excuse. I just wish it showed solo or grouped so we could eliminate that excuse too.

I do not believe the winrates are global as my Warrios has far more then my Priest which is my new main for this expac!
