I have played this game on and off for 15 years. I have been able to hold my own in PVP pretty well over those years. However since i have come back for season 2, the mechanics of this game are just stupid. One week abilities and gear works properly and fights are fairly even, and the next week its like I’m in greens. I get 2 shotted in full PVP gear and my damage output is pathetic.
I’m done spending all my time trying to improve and figure out whats wrong when its not me thats broken, it this game that i have sunk WAY too much time, effort and money into.
I agree 100%. Since 10.1.5 dropped, I have noticed a big difference. I think a lot of rogues are feeling the same way. To be fair, rogues are slated for a “rework” in 10.1.7, which isn’t too far away. It really doesn’t make much sense to tweak rogues a lot at this point. It still sucks .
If the rework doesn’t bring noticeable improvements, not just a few % point bumps here and there, but real improvements, I’m probably done with PvP. It’s just not fun putting in twice the effort for half the reward compared to other classes.
I truly don’t have faith in Blizzard to make this rework successful. The likely outcome is rogues will be over tuned, which will result in immediate knee jerk nerfs. Then the next six months will be spent bringing us back on par, if we make it that far.
Bare minimum fix assassinations 2pc knocking us out of stealth, just criminal to be left this way so long into the season. My second assassination rogue doesnt wear any tier, full pvp/craftable mastery gear because of tier being bugged… just stupid at this point.
No, no-one said “rework for 10.1.7” so your are much too optimistic and giving people hopes. The alleged rework is rather planned for 10.2 as communicated in Discord.
We may or may not see a first glimpse in 10.1.7 but the rework will take much longer…hopefully 10.2/November timeframe.

He never even mentioned 10.1.7
People interpreted “later patch coming up soon” to be 10.1.7 but the communication with the dev working on rogues currently points to 10.2 which is also a later patch
