Does Star Wars have a monthly fee?
Swtor has a monthly fee, there’s a f2p option but it is extremely limiting so I would only suggest trying f2p just to test the game, sub is definitely worth it considering it has accumulated years of content, story, solo, dungeons, raids and great pvp too.
Since unlike WoW, they don’t remove content left and right trying to create a fear of unsubbing
Totally not because shadow priest is overtuned or anything.
You can raid 2 nights for a total of 6 hours per week and get CE. If you only care about loot you can go down to 1 day and just kill as many mythic bosses as possible.
That seems pretty casual, only reason to play more is to de wq to farm the current borrowed power currency. Being bad is not the same as playing casually.
Take an hour out of your week to do a m+. Now you have mythic raid level gear.

Bet I could out -quest you and get more achievements and level more toons. /s
Seriously though, some people just dont give 2 turds about raiding and dungeons, they just don’t care for them. Some dont care about pvp. Some people love raiding and hate questing. some love pvp and hate raids some love pvp and hate quests, some love etc… on and on. Just because your having fun in a particular area of the game should not mean that you are rewarded on a lopsided scale. There are players who have accomplished difficult things in this game that have nothing to with raiding/pvp/dungeons.
Let blizzard put in a challenge for quests/pet battles/exploration, events etc… where gear is the objective and ill bet casuals would be as competitive as the pvp/raid/dungeon crawlers. Just because a person shines at a particular part of the game doesn’t mean they are the better, just means they have more macros and several buddies who like seeing the same fights over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over … Its all pixels that your just rearranging in the end anyways.
I’m a fan of swtor. I play both.
This is just it. This game is only a basic form of entertainment no matter how much people want to think of it as a competitive sport. In the end it’s no different than Hulu or Netflix. If the service isn’t entertaining, you cancel subscription and move on.
That game is still around? I thought it shut down years ago?
Oh wow, I didn’t know this thread existed.
I called this months ago, but apparently even CASUALS realized how “raid or die” Slands is.
It’s kind of insane how Ion is completely ruining this game and going to lose 80%+ of the games subs because he refuses to allow casuals gear progression since all he does is mythic raid on a single spec.
If people have problems now I can’t imagine the casual unsub wave that will come once they realize sl is raid or die.
Which is hilarious cuz every time wow screws up I see more ppl in Swtor’w general chat saying they quit WoW cuz it was terrible xD
Actually, if you wanna be real about SWTOR.
End game is S-posting on Fleet, and cutting others down to size, while you either wait for Story Mode raids as a pug, or Nightmare Mode with friends.
Good Luck on finding others for Master Mode FP’s though. Seriously. hahahahahahahahahaha.
The PvP is good, though sometimes you will see people begging in fleet for others to queue.
GSF has queue’s through specific hours of the day, and no pops outside that.
Again, fantastic game. But I wouldn’t be relying on large groups of other players to give you a large scale based feeling.
Again, enjoy SWTOR!
ITT: Guys, I’m leaving for a game that’s much worse than WoW. I just thought you should know.
But it’s one that will spoonfeed him gear so he can pretend he did something as he does nothing at the fleet. Which is his dream…

This is some funny stuff. If you think the grass is greener over in swtor you are sadly mistaken. I won’t bother typing out the huge post pointing out everything. Good luck over there. This coming from someone who started following that game in 2008 and played on day one with a collector’s edition in 2011.
Jedi balance Sage
That was me except I went Sith Warrior and Bounty Hunter. Had a blast leveling but once I got to end game that was it. PVP planet was a picture slide show due to the horrible engine they built the game around. I made it to the first expansion but left shortly after going through that content. I’ve popped back in on occasion but never stay long. They would have been better off sinking that money into a KOTOR 3 game.

Again that is why you don’t get and why do Swtor has been doing fine and growing with every wow’s failure.
You think people give a damn about your tryhard endgame? Or ranked forced arenas? People in Swtor are focused on having fun, getting the best gear possible and having fun in the content of their choice. Not epeen competition in Warcraft logs
Competitive tryhard content isn’t popular, you need to admit that one day, what is popular is casual fun solo adventures and Swtor more than accomplishes that.
You know what I do with Swtor? I start from level one cuz I want to have my own story choices, I get to max level without even finishing the original story, I have fun doing random bgs and slowly get to max gear within a week or two and then focus on augments and then amplifiers to reach that top 100% gear which can take a while, all that time I also gather top ilvl gear for my alts.
And then I keep doing random bgs cuz it is fun, I continue the story cuz it is ridiculously long and love master mode chapter of kotet and kotfe that provide an actual challenging solo story experience, and I also enjoy doing a few master mode flashpoint aka dungeons with the group finder.
And for all that I never have to bother and talk to others or join groups, just queuing and have fun, something tryhards cannot understand since their insecurities don’t allow them to enjoy content that isn’t ‘elite’ so they feel like they achieved something in life xD
That is why Swtor has been so much more fun overall and honestly would have easily beaten WoW if it was able to provide more frequent content updates and has dps meters.
Let’s not forget that classes are also a lot more deep resulting in a superior country play in pvp and outside of ranked which again, ppl don’t care about bg ques are vert fast, faster than WoW
Try hard meta slaves will never understand why Swtor is successful because their minds cannot think past ‘hurr durr muh competitive ranked endgame is all that matters’ while in reality only a minority gives a damn about competitive ranked mythic pvp endgame

Competitive tryhard content isn’t popular
ok but you also seem to think that it’s all that matters to the playerbase based on

so, which is it? is tryhard content not popular if it seems to be a lot of the playerbase?
SWTOR needs classic servers, I think it was a really great game. The questing was A+ , Stories, Conversations, Choices that matter to your story. I had a blast going Darkside V. The Planets are beautiful, very detailed. It was a really great great MMO.
Since the revamp though the game is kinda faceroll. I still like it, just isnt good enough to be my no.1 MMO to play.
In Swtor gear exists for the sense of progression, not so tryhard elitists keep the ‘peasants’ down like in WoW
So in Swtor we get gear to have fun, not to do tryhard content, in case that confused you : )
