I just looked up SWTOR’s end game gearing and they actually let casuals progress to the highest item level at end game from almost any activity and that works better for me than WoW’s end game casual gearing.
I know Blizzard doesn’t care since a lot of casuals just whale it up and go P2W with tokens and carries.
Anyways, for casuals that don’t like being treated as second class citizens at end game, I’d recommend taking a look at Star Wars the Old Republic.
I’ll be back to try Shadowlands since I already bought it and can’t refund, but unless they change end game gearing to be more casual friendly I won’t be staying long.

There’s probably more people shopping at your local wal-mart than online in SWTOR right now for this very reason

Goodbye! Hope you find the perfect game that’s more your casual style.
Doubt the endgame will change, but seeing as how easy Mythic is 6 months after a tier releases… Well, let’s just say you could’ve easily gotten that gear yourself

The eternal question - Why do casual players want mythic raid gear to do casual content?

These people want nothing more then for blizzard to mail there toons the best gear, and even then they would complain because there is nothing to do!

hahahahaha! That game is still live? Who plays it? I hopped in the other day, but the graphics are so dated it’s like playing WoW Classic only Starwars themed.

Pretty sure Swtor still has lootboxes in the form of “cartel packs” Which I have a strong dislike of them even if they might be cosmetics. I haven’t really checked far into it. Its still dirty pool in my book.
It is also Same reason I lost interest in phantasy star online 2 and Elder Scrolls Online.

Happens on swtor too my dude. Plus swtor is worse when it comes to purchasable bonuses because you have to gamble for half of it.
I mean i think your being a little dramatic there. I am the epitome of the casual player and I’m geared enough to be top dps in lfr and get through the content I choose to play. I also do not expect to get gear as good as what raiders get.
You can get up to what heroic level gear through world quests? Just what you you expecting? A full mythic set for bringing 10 bear butts to jaina?
Like i get enjoying the gearing system in swtor more, if random gear generator is your thing, but wow is far from casual unfriendly.

For cosmetic stuff, yes, but you can also buy said items with in-game currency.
Pretty sure it’s as casual friendly as it has ever been. You just have to put forth a little effort.

yes you can get the highest ilvl playing casually, but its not BiS due to set bonuses, but if you are just worried about getting all 306 mods, its stupidly easy to get and then there is really nothing else for you to do other than conquests
i have 11 characters finished like that, and i needed a change of scenery. also you dont even really need to do group content, just do your conquests every week and you are set, but you will probably get bored with it.
i will probably go back for the next story update though
Hope you have fun. If you don’t and end up coming back, try expanding what you consider to be casual content. Someone liked a post of mine from March where I said I don’t even raid…ya, progressing through mythic now. You can go as far as you want to, casual or not!

Because being powerful is fun.

Mog, what else is there really. Other than a title and a mount there’s no other reason to mythic raid anyway.

Everything costs $. You have to pay with real dollars if you want a new haircut.
The mobs scale to your ilvl anyways in the open world.

wrong on all points, and SL wil be awesome.
but SWTOR is fun too, as long as you dont mind a permanent “buy this speical” item in your face 24/7 when you play and you can’t get rid of it

The eternal answer - Why do mythic raiders want mythic raid gear if they have already beaten the most difficult content?
