NOTE - Every single one of my posts has been flagged, even though I put in the message that flagging posts just because you don’t agree is wrong. My posts got restored.
I’ve been gone for a bit and of course saw that WoTLK Classic is coming out. I’ve been playing retail and enjoy it much more than classic.
Why am I allowed to talk? - Undying Title/Feat of Strength and Killed LK when he was current in 2010.
Now to my post - I refuse to ruin my memories of what is hands down the best expansion to ever be released. If you didn’t get to play WoTLK back in 2008-2010, you missed out on the greatest MMORPG experience period.
And WoTLK Classic will not give you that, not for those who were there, or those who weren’t and think they missed out.
It’s trendy, I get it, but no RDF and the typical popular streamers already swarming over WoTLK means the average Joe Blow without a network of friends is going to have a hard time.
I did my time back then, played during the best time of WoW and killed Arthas and moved on to greater things and served Azeroth with dignity.
For them to even begin, they need to bring WoTLK in as it was EXACTLY in 2010. Also somehow separate streamers from the general population.
So to those who are on the fence about this, don’t play it, play retail, DF is coming out soon and there are many other good games you can play in your backlog.
I know this post will get flamed hard, but had to throw my voice into the wind and for others who feel like me.

All this post sounds like to me is that you don’t like that they brought back WotLK. And even though people asked/begged for it, because you don’t like it, they shouldn’t have it. You played it when it was current. Great, so did I. Want a cookie? Let people enjoy things.

i think its funny how if you want to play wrath classic, you have to pay for the epic, or heroic upgrade, which, dont get me wrong. i get why, BUT, people that have been subbed since classic vanilla have already paid for it once when it first came out. so having to buy it again to relive memories that arent gonna live up to expectations seems lame.
like i said, i understand that a company has to make money, and it cost money to maintain the game, and servers. but it just seems odd t pay for an expac you already bought 14 yrs ago
anyways, been there done that.
People really overthink this.
I think RDF should be implemented and I’m not a fan of the new LFG tool. I don’t agree with you that you won’t be able to find a group without being a “popular streamer” but it’s definitely not good enough when leveling. End-game LFG tool is fine, but while questing and leveling a new toon, we should be able to use RDF.
Huh?
I’m 100% positive you automatically get it for free.x

I don’t think so. WOTLK was best about the end of 3.1. When they re-release these things, all the classes and everything are as they were at the end of the the xp, in 3.3.5
Northrend eoic Upgrade $79.99
Northrend Heroic Upgrade $49.99
maybe you dont have to pay for the regular, but to get the stuff you actually want, and or perks of convenience then you gotta pay. like i said, i get it, i understand it, but it just seems pointless. especially when most of us have already been there.
wish i still had my old account from back then when i was younger.
Isn’t it all cosmetic minus the boost?
And if you play on a fresh server - you can’t even boost anyways so….

whats not good enough when lvling? wrath lvling was super easy.
peoples points are always followed by an “if” which automatically makes it moot in my book.
IF you play on a fresh server. nobodys gonna choose a fresh server when they have the convenience of a boost in their back pocket lol
I mean - with a 50% xp bonus if you need a boost sounds like a personal problem lol.

maybe reading comprehension isnt your strong suit, but i said the epic and heroic UPGRADES.
if i had a crayon, id draw you a picture
also, most people will spend the money for the convenience of a boost. because when money makes things easier, people tend the take the path of least resistance.
i know i would, becasue i hate lvling. which is why im not buying or playing it.
theres your “self control”
its free…
having a blast being part of the DK army swarming Outland.
