Why I should quit WoW?

Old time player... Let's be real here.

Because how little Blizzard does as far as adding new abilities, spicing up the classes, I'm very bored.

That has had me turning to classes I've never played before.

I only like RDPS.

Balance Druid,
Warlock
and Shadow Priest (I mained one in MoP, new to the void variation).

So after all the work Id have to put into those 3 toons, what the hell do I get out of it? I know... I'm supposed to feel enjoyment.

Lets be honest, WoW feels like a job

I'm already working on getting my bank to refund me my $70 for BFA and every other Blizzard transaction.

Diablo 3 was the worst gaming letdown of my life, completely killed the franchise. WoW has gone downhill. I don't feel sad letting go of Blizzard because there's there's nothing I genuinely enjoy about them as a company. I think they're pure garbage. Even the $55 goodie bag is just evil. How dare you charge so much for your garbage.

Anyway, rant over.

Try leveling past 16 cupcake.

This isn't my main, this is one of several accounts. I sold my main for that $$$$$.

Anyway, have a reason to play?

Do you like the grind?

Bump
you don't like doing the same dungeon on 12 different difficulties?
Getting your bank to refund you for money you spent in good faith with blizzard
is illegal and is not going to work.

When you work hard for your money, give it to Blizz and end up with what they delivered I dont blame you trying to get your money back. I cancelled my sub soon as I finished pathfinder and realised end game is nothing but mythic plus grind fest all day. Have to speak with your wallet.

Listen I've played WoW. The main point of an mmo is people and you all know this community sucks. People suck, they're toxic, it's "me, me, me'. This game sucks.

Because you aren't having fun. If you aren't having fun, why pay for it? That is wasting money.

If you are having fun, continue subscribing. If you aren't, quit.

No rule saying that if you quit that you can't come back. Maybe a break is what you need.
If youndon’t like the game don’t play. It is rather simple.

On a side note, I thought Diablo 3 was awesome. My only gripe was I spent more time playing that and fell very far behind in Catclysm.

But not all people are like that though. There are plenty of people within the community that are wonderful, but you would have to be in game for that instead of the forums, now wouldn't you?

Don't really understand these threads. I mean, if you really have to question whether you should play or not, than just quit, go find something else in your free time.

I do agree with you, that classes are very boring. If the reason why they are unable to add anything to classes is that it is impossible for them to balance than they need to hire a new team with fresh new ideas. Than again people will just come on here and complain no matter what /shrug
Runescape is a better mmorpg than WoW. At least I can sell my account on osrs eventually, or my gold to make $$$$
Welcome future classic player!

Name an online community where toxicity doesn't exist..... I'll wait....... (crickets.....)

It's not the WoW community that you're describing, it's humans. If you can't stand it that badly, MMO's are not for you.

If you want to quit, then quit. For someone who doesn't enjoy being around toxicity, you came to one of the most toxic places about this game to talk about leaving the game.

It's a video game. If you don't enjoy, put it down and leave it. Just like you do with any other game you don't like.

Most certainly, so your realness should include the knowledge of the proper usage of periods, because you have demonstrated your ignorance of their usage in the very first sentence of your post.
So, you're trying to do a charge-back for a product you used, sold your level 120 for $$, think the community, people in general, Blizzard, and the game 'suck'...I'm sorry, but I can't say I'm sad to see people like this leaving.

I truly am sorry you don't enjoy the game, I hope to see you again in Azeroth sometime.
The core issue is that WoW just isn't that fun anymore for most people, and that is why they are quitting. It's not any one specific thing. People quit for various reasons. Many of the changes in this expansion, coupled with design decisions they have made over the years have driven away a huge chunk of the playerbase. Also, most of us are just getting too old to play, and we aren't being replaced by newcomers. The new player experience in WoW is pretty awful, and it doesn't seem like they have discovered a good way to fix that. I suspect that a lot of the toxicity is directly due to the lack of fun. I know I am a pretty cancerous person these days in WoW, and it is mainly because I am frustrated with their design choices and the situations I am in the entire time I am playing.

The game likely won't die for a very long time. Ultima is still alive afaik. As long as they can run servers, they will. But I expect to see it eventually fall by the wayside in terms of development. It would probably take several more years for WoW to be called "dead" in the sense of it not being a staple multiplayer game that is one of the more popular online games.
