Why I QUIT Solo Shuffles games mid-game

Before I join a solo shuffle lobby I’ll have normal playable ping.

Then I get into a lobby and my ping shoots up to 300ms… and continues to climb with each round all the way up to 800ms. I cant play at all and just quit. I don’t understand why this is happening.

If you play at off hours you are likely to get put into OCE games where that will happen. Check if anyone in the group is from an OCE realm like Frostmourne.

Yep the Aussies servers are a real issue for lag.

I refuse to to play w Barithas or Frostmourne players in LFG for m+ or arena. Nothing against them personally

G’day.

People on Australian servers are far more affected by latency than people on US servers. I find if I’m on a server with someone from the Midwest or east coast in America, the game is essentially unplayable. West coast servers give me any where from 120 to 150 ms, which is manageable. If you live in Australia, and use any LFG feature, there is like a 90% chance you are playing on a US server.

I for one enjoy watching the Americans lose their minds when their ping goes higher than 20.

Tfw americans are better at raging at high ping better than eu players. America wins again

ya turns out playing with 20 ping for 20 years makes 200 ping insufferable

who woulda guessed wowee!

It doesn’t always work the same both ways. There was someone stationed in Korea iirc who played on an East Coast server and a server near where he was. He said when connecting to the East Coast server his ping was high but it was playable however when he connected to the Korean server (or wherever it was) while home on leave (east coast) the ping was similar however the game was unplayable due to the lag. My personal experience is when I get connected to OCE realms for BG’s or arena the game is unplayable with multiple seconds of freezing then catching up etc.

Okay give me your healthcare and you can have my ping

The only people who want Australias free health care, are the people who’ve never been stuck relying on it to save their life.

It maybe good if you live in 1 of the 4 major cities, but mainly it serves as a triage unit. About half the population here pay for private health cover, and it would be a lot more if the cost wasn’t so high.

Get into a car accident and you’re probably fine, have something wrong that needs to be diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, and you’re probably screwed.
