Honestly I quit RP over a decade ago but still am on Moon Guard just because it’s huge and has a good AH (also I’m cheap and don’t want to pay to transfer characters).
I’m sick of most RP being hook-up oriented OR boring turn-based events where you stand around and roll virtual dice and then pretend something actually happened. RP used to be a lot more dynamic back in ye olden days, now it’s just a stage play.
I’m long over the drama too. Not all RPers have issues, but a plurality of them do and I’m not in a game to be someone’s personal therapist.
FFXIV’s community is even WORSE and it’s not close. That game’s “RP scene” is a cesspool of some of the must f-ed up crap I’ve ever witnessed. I’m over it.
