Humans are in a world of Gods. Azeroth has races with immense strength, amazing agility, genius intellect, inherent magical affinity, and even those who have defied death itself. And the humans are just that: human. And yet they hold their own and stand up alongside these other races. They fight alongside and against gods and prove that they have what it takes to stand with these gods.

Some of the best, most important, and powerful characters in Warcraft lore are humans. Arthas, Jaina, Medivh, Khadgar, Antonidas, Aegwynn, Varian, Uther, Tirion, Turalyon, and Kel’thuzad are all been humans, and they all have taken part in large parts of Warcraft’s story

Their lore is integral to the story of Warcraft. The humans defeated the Amani empire and broke them apart into tribes. They defeated the orcs during the 2nd war and pushed them back into the dark portal. They’re on of the most important races on Azeroth

They get a stun removal and a 10% rep buff
I mean, I like Humans because they genuinely have good lore that makes up a big chunk of this games universe.
I really love The Ashbringer comic storyline.
I think you’re forgetting about Human Potential™.
Blood Elves are the most popular race dude…
yeah wow humans are cool but jeez it feels like all i see are humans and elves and the occasional slutmogged draenei whenever i play alliance now
I play Humans, because of their lore, it’s pretty great along with Blood Elves and Draenei.
First thing I thought reading the title
Humans just make me think of that one human party member in a DnD team of races that can all see in the dark.
Just them stumbling around in the dark
Blood Elves are the most popular race and last I checked humans are considered the most boring race of WoW so
Did you know, on my server, it’s actually blood elves that are the most popular race?
That’s so accurate it’s scary.
I love this thread!!
That really seems like a meme more than anything, or people coming off as very insecure about their creativity.
Liking a story can be subjective sure, but the entire basis of this universe stems from Orcs v.s Humans.
Yeah, but my bonus feat though? (crashing into everything)
Truth be told, I actually sort of admire Human players. Their presence makes it more fun to play my other races, since you sort of need the normal guy/straightman for the bizarre things to have any meaning.
“Regular” Human women are very cute. They have it where it counts. But I like my females noble savage. Kul’Tirans not named Falstaff are anathema to me, so I’ll judge their druid forms. They may be roman propaganda but they’re no dinosaurs.
I 100% agree the humans have a great story no questions asked but I think it needs more creativity from blizzard in fact deserves it every war based expansion is always based around the horde going rampant and doing stuff like BFA the horde burnt a world tree and covered lordaron in blight and the alliance were just there alliance and humans are always just the side characters imo never the stars
that’s all they’ve given us that looks decent and not short or fat. draenei males look weird and a lot of people don’t care to be a worgen with their odd animations and gear not fitting well to be fair, worgen are almost as populated as draenei. I just plain like helmets and some don’t do that well. Gnomes are annoying. I like dwarves, they just have gear that doesn’t look good on them mostly because of that belly. My alts a dark iron shaman in fact.
Horde are mostly blood elves, foxes, and orcs now with some undead I rarely see cows or trolls besides troll females using that 1 face.
Correction: second most popular. Thank you for pointing that out.
call me odd and unfitting again dagger ears and we’re running hands right on this board
Humans are actually becoming my favorite race over night elves. Odd night elves have been my favorite since I began playing WoW
