I don’t want any other rogues thinking they’re good because they play overpowered specializations like Assassinations. I’m a diehard sub main, and will never ever switch no matter how bad sub is. If sub is bad, like it is in BFA, i will play battlegrounds and not do arenas.
The last time that Subtlety was a respectable spec was in warlords where at least shadow dance did damage and i had recuperate and slice and dice. Nowadays the spec is a tragedy and an absolute disgrace to the rogue class.
I refuse to cater to blizzard’s idea of class identity and what a rogue should be, and i reject how overpowered assassination is. I will not be another mindless assassination drone in arenas. I refuse. I wont even attempt to rank up. It makes me sick. I hate assassination and the melee warlock play style. It’s just as much of a disgrace as outlaw is to the rogue class.
The lack of conquest and honor points has completely removed my motivation to even try to take pvp seriously. If you take pvp seriously in the past 2 expansions, you’re stupid. Everything is based on RNG and if you do mythic raiding. You get the best OP trinkets and gear, you get high rating.
Let me conclude like this.
ALL gear people use in pvp is achieved through PvE, and all PvE gear is broken overpowered. If you have high rating, and are a mythic raider, you are garbage and are abusing a broken system simple as that.
The most important rule that will never change and is 100% accurate is: if you think rating matters at all after warlords, you are a joke and deserve to be ignored.
Hes slowly going crazy because youd think blizzard woudnt ignore specs for two entire expansions XD coughs in enhancement shaman, ignored for 5 years after bc then 5 years again now
I feel ya, the main take away here ladies and gents, there was a huge difference in players higher rated now than in WOD. Class imbalance and pve farming has either inflated or deflated pvpers rating, disagree if you want its fact. In WOD there was an even playing field in matters of gear and obtaining bis. Now folks who backpedal but are decked out and play Dh or Lock can steamroll undergeared pvp vets. Less about skill more about pve.
Do you take geared bis elite/gladiator Dhs serious like a Sub rogue from WOD? BFA wasn’t meant for pvpers but for pvers to stomp their way around the whole game.
So why do some people with the same ilevel and all BiS still have trouble against eachother? Because it still takes skill. You are trash. It is fine. Don’t have to insult tryhards for having more dedication than you.
WoD was complete garbage, go play a private server if you miss it so much. Literally bulldozed class design from MoP and deserves absolutely zero praise.
I can understand the OP a lot. I haven’t done arenas since MoP when they took away our second wind. Without any self heals, I am pretty useless in PvP.
