You’re a casual scrub if you aren’t countersinking those nails.
Hey, I’m just finishing up other’s shoddy work.
After spending all day swinging a in the mines or
at the forge, my arms are just too tired to swing a weapon in combat. Thus, I’ve taken a page out of the hunter skillbook, and now I can sit back and relax and frag enemies with my Praise-the-Light!™ Instagib Holy Shock-Rifle, which is especially useful against the undead and for stealing killing-blows.
Why bonk heathens when you can skewer them?
I’m sure there’s a lore reason paladins carry hammers, but in my mind it was always because a hammer is more than just a weapon, it’s something used to build.
this symbolically representing that paladins aren’t just warriors but they also can help after the fighting is done to help rebuild, be it spiritually or literally.
but also something something “historically priests aren’t allowed to carry bladed weapons but they could carry maces” something something.
oh also I’m sure there’s some judges gavel imagery in there somewhere too.
Good for you OP.
I like Scythes so I reap peoples heads off
Hammers and screwdrivers and such are nice if you wanna build a shelf, but gimme a rifle any day.
Do you hammer in the morning, all over this land?
Obviously not. OP hammers in the evening, hammering out love between our brothers and sisters.
Those are my fellow Paladins at work!
And if you play gnolf, a large hammer can give you some really good distance on your drive shot with a warrior type gnolf ball. Remember to dimple their armor though.
I see you are a fan of King Robert, the Demon of the Trident.
Nice reasons and RP, well done, sir.
I use a scepter because Jessica in my 1% RP world, is a queen in Azeroth but which country, you might ask? No one know! LMAO
A hammer… an entirely worthy weapon of a Paladin… but for myself personally I prefer my massively oversized sword… after all, no enemies suspect the one who is wearing full plate and carrying a giant sword to be the healer… a glamour? What are you insinuating? You think I’m just pretending to carry this enormous sword?
Hammers are for throwing, Swords are for hitting.
A hammer is THE original Paladin weapon.
If you wanna go in another direction then that’s fine - mine do. But at no point can you say that a hammer is in any way a “wrong” choice for this class. That’d be like telling an Orc he shouldn’t be using an axe - lunacy.
Hammers are more effective against armored opponents because they’re more likely to dent or puncture metal.
Transmog has helped a little bit, but I always use or transmog my polearms/two-handed maces into staves, on my Druid.
And, I’ll use or transmog crossbows/guns into bows, for my bow using Hunters. Unless, it’s a Dwarf Hunter, guns, guns, guns LOL
I remember in Cata, in Firelands, the BiS healing one-handed mace dropped, but I refused to roll for it because it wasn’t a staff LOL It blew the mind of my min/maxing friend who just couldn’t understand LOL
You can love blunt force trauma most of all regardless of your class.
