I’m strangely having this issue as well. Tried across multiple flying mounts and dragonriding mounts, but double tapping spacebar to fly isn’t working on any of them, so I never get off the ground. I checked my mount settings - set to Skyriding. No idea, but I’ll check again in the morning.
I was in for a good 20 minutes or so and didn’t notice anything like this. Not to say that it isn’t happening. I know it is. It just might be sporadic in nature.
I can’t fly either. All my flying mounts are landlocked.
I’ve never been in DF content so I don’t have dragonflying. Seems like people who do aren’t having any problems, but people who have never unlocked dragon riding seem to be bugged.
I logged back in to look at this. My buff says I have Skyriding enabled. I used the new “switch flight style” button just to test. I could then steady fly on my mount. Switched back to Skyriding and tried again - no go. Tried on multiple flying mounts including some dragonriding ones from DF just to be safe. Pressing space bar just does the mount animation but I never take off. Maybe something has changed or I’m just missing something?
When I mount a dragonriding mount (like my grotto netherwing drake) I don’t even get the skyriding action bars to appear. Currently set to “Skyriding” and have tried using the toggle to go back and forth just to see. But yeah, I appear to be grounded on flying/skyriding mounts and can’t take off.
(I’m on my level 70 toons who were skyriding just fine before prepatch this morning)
Oh well, I’ll check back again in the morning! Good luck, all!
Just making sure it’s not just me. I haven’t been in beta so I wasn’t sure if it was an actual problem or I was just missing something silly. Seeing others with the same issue confirms.
