Alleria is still a High Elf. She has void powers, yes, but she was not changed like Umbric and his followers, so she’s not a Void Elf.
ok
We’re talking about Vereesa not Alleria dude.
I know you’re talking about Vereesa, not Alleria, but you seemed to be insinuating that Vereesa was the only “High Elf” Windrunner left.
I meant when it came to subrace/allied race representation. biologically there are no high elves or blood elves or void elves just the same race.
I see what you mean. I mean, yes, Blood Elves did actually physically change from their High Elven counterparts, and the Void Elves made an even bigger and more obvious physical change from their Blood Elven forms, but Blizzard says they’re all part of the “same race”: which is screwy, because they use “race” when they obviously should have used “species”, as “species” is a biological descriptor, and “race” is just a social categorization. I mean, the three groups are distinct and different from each other (though some may claim not different enough, but that’s another topic).
All in all, Blizzard just hasn’t been consistent with their lore. It’s a huge mess, and so right now I’m not even going to try to defend it, lol.
Solution: Kill Sylvanas off, and allow Vereesa and Rhonin to become the new Jailors.
If the Maw is supposed to be the final destination for the worst beings in existence I can think of no more fitting, nor appropriate punishment for them then forcing them to hear the following…
Rhonin yells: “CITIZENS OF TORGHAST! RAISE YOUR EYES TO THE SKIES AND OBSERVE! TODAY OUR AFTERLIFE’S DESTRUCTION HAS BEEN AVERTED IN DEFIANCE OF OUR JAILOR! SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER, HERALD OF THE FALLEN, HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY OUR BRAVE COMRADES IN THE DEPTHS OF THE MAW!”
On repeat. For all eternity.
Cmon you guys. You know that’s a fate worse than death itself.
