Why High Elves Don't Work: A Primer (Part 1)

Yeah, we can put antlers and warpaint on them.

fair point…

Y’know what? i would just be repeating myself at this point.

I’ll credit this to Blizzard being lazy.

I suppose there is a heartless Blood elf in all of us… spookie

fair…

Alleria sure did not maintain her tentacles and purple skin :cowboy_hat_face:

He also says anything can happen.

This may not be the exact same case with playable races.

But classic already showed you can just do a “rainy day” with a potential project. Hell, classic had phenomenal numbers on launch and still has a healthy amount of players.

The void is known for being dark and scary and Void elves are an elf that has a bit that dark and scary. Night elves were directly designed from drow/dark elf inspiration. They are nothing alike but they both provide a quirky feel of a dark elf fantasy.

were they

Even with the “rules” that would exclude Void elf is what i am saying. And i’m aware, other than banter there is never going to be a removal of a race.

longer sigh

if we had a competition when it comes to numbers, this is true and fair.

Unless the writers decided that there simply weren’t enough Alliance high elves remaining to make a playable population… as dev commentary suggests.

I hear they cause cancer, though we don’t need to get into that here.

I don’t know I don’t remember seeing anything about that in Chronicles, but I might be wrong.

This is from Blood of the Highborne and that novella was pretty recent.

Either way it technically involves over doing the arcane stuff.

Okay, be vague if you must then…

My post actually followed a line by line response to yours.

1: yes, withdrawal
2: still not the same degree

Think of the doses similarly to radiation

Humans: background level
High/Blood Elves: elevated
Nightborne, wretched before getting cut off: standing next to a nuclear fuel cell
What I’m talking: standing inside a gigantic neutron beam and turning it off before you die

I suppose so…

you’re right, chronicles confirms it was overindulgence

No, my opinion is worth less than others’ because I’m stupid. Get it right fam.

Yay sources that match!

What bothers me is that before Ion made the comment about high elves being blood elves, he had a video to suggest adding high elves for alliance when ARs were first introduced.

The best part was where she demonstrated what she accused you of.

Apparently he looked into and decided it was a bad idea. Must have been one of the reasons.

Only in your imagination.

I know, very imperious, wasn’t it?

I’m not claiming to be an authority. I’m only claiming you aren’t one.

Forgive me my lady! I’m so sorry, it’s only true when you say other people are doing what your doin - er… accusing them of.
