Out of curiosity, what made you turn away from them?
I played ESO and SWTOR but couldn’t deal with that many MMOs all at once. >.< Between WoW, GW2, ESO and SWTOR I felt like I was pulled too many ways. lol
You’ve set up a pretty slipper slope, and you need to understand the issue around race politics in fantasy games isn’t something that we ‘antis’ own. Maybe it would help your tribalism to start using people-first language.
It was just for both instances great advertising of the games. And within the first few minutes I knew it wasn’t going to work out.
I did try ESO longer then GW2 I didn’t like the story or the play style.
If WoW ended tomorrow I would go back to SWTOR if SWTOR ended after that I would just not play mmos. The mmo age will then be over for me. I think that’s what I learned trying those other two out.
EDIT: To refine my answer some, both in wow and swtor, I had love of the lore already and had pre existing expectations to wanna see this or that or experience this or that, and in both cases for GW2 and ESO they were just Generic MMO 1 and 2 to me and meant nothing if that makes sense.

by the way, i didnt say anything about you hacking me. i just dont want to play games suggested on the forums if the person suggesting it, has harrased me since it may mean thats why they are here - to get dummies like me who wander in, so disenfranchised, they quit out of self preservation

No. People were asking specifically for skin tones to be more like blood elves…
Look I’m not sure what we’re talking about anymore or if we’re talking about the same thing.
In the topics about Void Elves getting light/human etc skin tones to look like Blood/High elves is where most of that discussion happened that I’m referring to.
it was already it, when you insinuated i was a racist the last five times, for wanting human skin colors on my velf. velfs would look terribly with pale skin. look at my avatar. she looks like she’s been dead for awhile.
I have seen people calling for BE’s neutrality as well which is something I am opposed to.
Partly why (another layer to my reasons of supporting HEs) I support HE’s as their own thing too, I think it enriches the story for both, and BE fans can try to mitigate more drastic ideas.
do you think that means they’re racists? i dont get how being a belf is not racist but wanting to look like a belf, is racist.
There were some threads removed on here and comments on WoWhead, and some things less recent… but again it’s different conversation entirely.

I feel like she’s working really hard to frame us into some conversation. Though maybe she needs to talk with Playpen about it because it looks like something went down between them or Hyper thinks something went down between them. But Hyper has been really irrational the past few days, otherwise I’d tap Playpen on the shoulder.

I’ve never been that into the void theme at all, or the old god storylines in wow. They kind of bore me.
I just want a quel’danil ranger.
