Void elves weren’t rejected because of that.
here you go again. there’s a difference between simply light skin and human skin. humans have more than one shade of skin. some people prefer the lighter shades, such as yourself. some dont. you’ve seen my belfs. they mostly have the darker skin colors. please stop insinuating we’re racists for wanting access to human skin colors. stop before you ruin the game
It’s certainly one of the complaints.
And asking for Void elves to have more human skin color isn’t helping.
Not sure how you missed people complaining they got another ‘purple’ elf.
There have been people complaining about opening up skin color options in the past and there was some of it last night - which was about Blood Elves not Alliance high elves specifically.
well i rest my case. this is why i’m leaving. any helfers who are still here, will be eaten alive by the twitter mob if the antis dont stop with the accusations
It’s hard to have sympathy for you when it seems you’re overreacting and blaming us for your problems.
When I first played, I played Alliance, and pally was one of my first toons. I made him the darkest skin color, looks black to me. And named him Kornrow. Like Dave Chapelle’s character Cornrow Jackson lol. And in SWTOR my bounty hunter was black. I don’t know when I was younger I would always make the darkest skinned character for some reason even though I’m white lol.
its hard for me because of the last 3 years. absolutely no empathy after that
i made a black human female named skywalker. hehe.
Oh man the screaming that came from many pro high elf players was epic when they revealed no light skin options for Void Elves. Many MANY people rejected them for that. Did they all? Of course not, but boy the kicking and screaming some did was particularly bad. I get the idea of why they’d want that, but it was kind of a pipe dream at that time.
Asking for a variety of human skin tones, including dark ones, is asking for light skin?
because brown and purple are different colors. i wanted a traditional elf. this automatically translates to lighter shades of skin to some people but i like the ones that look like they’ve been in the sun. not everyone’s vision of an elf is lighter brown.
Okay, you obviously want this to be the conversation. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE TAKING SOMETHING PERSONAL THAT DOESN’T APPLY TO YOU.
You are being HYPERTRIBAL, Blood Elves getting diverse skin tones has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARGUE AROUND THE ISSUE OF PLAYABLE ALLIANCE HIGH ELVES other than the proximity Alliance high elves have to Blood Elves, which is a completely different conversation.
The issue of this thread and the issue of skin tone for Blood Elves ARE NOT THE SAME THING and NOT EVERYONE IS AN ‘ANITI’ WHO DISAGREES WITH YOU. This isn’t two tribes battling who have to take opposite potions on everything, the conversation has a narrow focus. You are making something our problem that isn’t and you are accusing us of something nobody has done to you.
I reject void elves because they are blood elves, not alliance high elves. I don’t want to play a void theme character. The little bit they have for a story is bland and rushed. The tentacles look like bits of plastic stuck in their hair. They turn the guadiest shade of blue in combat.
And there is nothing about them that relates to the high elves I want to play.
No there have been a number of people and a number of posters complaining about diverse skin tones on Blood Elves. It sounds like at least one poster associated it with wanting Void Elf skin tones to change and so we’re being accused of trying to set her up to hack her or forming an angry Twitter mob to dox and harass her in her real life. It’s just a lot of high drama.
so what do you suggest we do? we cant ask for the same shades you have currently and now youre getting the darker ones we wanted, as well. i guess our only solution is to just stop asking.
there are ‘high’ elves purposely placed around void elves for the exact implication you are seeking and confirmed by danuser
I want to avoid the void theme, thanks.
no what i mean is if this starts getting attention on twitter, and they think start doxxing people on the forums, things will devolve quickly. the antis who are claiming its a problem that we wanted human skin colors, are gonna cause the hammer to drop on all of us.
I like the new skin tones for belfs, and I hope high elves have a similar range.
