I don’t think they would be either, but I think the people who like them would be really into it… and it would add a lot of flavor to the Alliance.

The only real point that High Elves will not be playable within the Alliance is this: Blood Elves are the most popular race in the Horde, if the Alliance gets High Elf this may cause major issues for faction numbers. Many Blood Elves will transfer over to High Elf.

This is the only reason. All the others a pointless even if they make sense. By a lore perspective Alliance should have had High Elves but due to the game perspective it will never happen. It sucks but it makes some sense. The Horde wouldn’t hold up without the Blood Elves being unique, it was a major issue in Classic and TBC fixed this. People just like pretty blond elves.

It could be a better idea to give the alliance something more heavily requested.

We already have two flavors of squid, that’s fishy enough of a flavor.

I think it’s also Blizzard’s design philosophy to keep the factions distinct and Alliance high elves are nearly identical to Blood Elves.

They’d also just be more blue. I mean, I know that’s the alliance color but that doesn’t mean we should only get blue races.

Read the OP. Basically destroys any argument by High Elfers. Blizzard clearly doesn’t want to add them, but it seems High Elfers don’t get that.

Be careful, some people will say high elves with blue eyes is an alliance theme.
