Why High Elves Don't Work: A Primer (Part 1)

Just sounds like bluster to me. Prepare to get smited by the light. The true legacy of the high elf people.

No, I’m afraid not. The Light exists only because of the Darkness of the Void. You cannot have one without the other.

The cost of the primadonna life the rise and fall.

But that is why I am a Warlock! I need not sell myself to the Void!

You do not represent the void, you’re just its puppet. Prepare for smiting.

You are a squid elf.

I want high elves. I need a high elf ranger that looks good in a wider variety of mogs, and also doesn’t turn a nauseating shade of blue in combat.

A beautiful contrast to Blood Elves whose culture and personality are shifted and would make RP and experiencing the lore extremely fun as a High Elf!

Of course we did!

That’s very cute of you to say, having a demon within your soul who bounds you to a leash. You amuse me, I like you.

Alas for you, even the scholars of the Quel’dorei have been interested in our evolution as supreme beings. You will find many of them now converse and cohort with us to understand and learn our power.

We are the future, you are more like an embarrassing glimpse of the past.

If you want High Elves, than the Alliance is already here. Waiting for you.

The Sin’dorei are the majority and even the Quel’dorei would and should number more than you.

I love VEs too but sounds like for different reasons …

But the past represents legitimacy, tradition, hierarchy, history, and the Blood Elves and High Elves both bring that with them forward, and Void Elves sort of diverge into this new path.

Nah, I’ll hold out hope for non voided ones. You enjoy your void elf though.

I missed you all too!

Otherway around, its why I am immortal and can’t die, while, you can. 8D

I think you mistake their interest in the void as interest in you. I imagine they are in wonder at how such an idiotic mistake could ever occur, and how to avoid it. After all, why would a blood elf give up their sanity to be like you?
Now, here is you Zyprexa.

The past represents stagnation. Decay. Conformity. Decadence. Illusion.

We are the premier elves moving forward unto new territory, and you are welcome to join us, cousin. If you will is truly strong you can add to our ranks and be reborn anew, more powerful than you’ve ever been.

Or, you can choose to squander yourself, never seeking your highest potential.

Sorry my love, the closest you are ever likely to get are pink skin and “normal” (ick) hair tones for Ren’dorei. Embrace our beauty and perfection.

Oh, I have.

Normal High Elves are a quaint relic of the past. Boring, and dull.

QUEL’THALAS AND BLOOD ELVES AND HIGH ELVES WOULD NEVER RISK THE SUNWELL FOR THE FUTURE YOU SPEAK OF.

Personal power maybe, but debatable.

At the very least I’ll ask for them whenever I have game time.

Because they are sightless, boring dullards. Besides, Quel’thalas would look so much better in purples, blue, and silver.

You absolutely can, I always cheer for the underdog story. I wish you all the best in your endeavour, I hope only that you do not waste your life away in WoW pining for something that may never be instead of enjoying the sensual now of the present.

Awe, I could never be mad at a beauty such as yours.

My favorite colors are gold and red. The banners of House Lannister. And coincidentally match the Sin’dorei colors.

That’s quite alright. Not everyone on Azeroth has good taste.
