Being a civil participant in things also includes actually listening when people explain things. Like that the discord comment is not a demand to take any discussion of a topic off the forums, but a suggestion to people who are telling others that they are not allowed to comment on a topic that maybe they should go to a place where they can make the rules if they want to have place to discuss without people disagreeing.
Otherwise you just look like you’re ignoring the actual situation and acting like one side is the only problem here, and not actually here to participate.

Without naming names I agree with a plethora of anti posters and enjoy reading their comments even when I don’t engage with them for they simply play on my love of lore points, so I agree people should be open on both sides. That comment just seems specifically mean spirited and ironic if people don’t take their own advice. So if anything just be mindful when you use it towards people to not come across as telling them to leave a conversation.
Yeah, that response screams out “I actually read the post I’m responding to”

I’ve never mentioned discord before tonight period, so no I don’t do that, and this is the only character I post on / if I ever post on something it’ll have Lannister in the name. And it was openly admitted that antis do it in this conversation.

All I’ve said this entire thread is compliments pertaining to talented people knowledgable on lore, until the irony of not taking ones own advice irked me.
