Why High Elves Didn't Work - A Restrospective

I could be fair and give you 12 hours a day and I take the other 12…

Will I be that fair?

So you admit you are trying to switch it from you.
I pointed out you were being spiteful, so now you are trying to distract from your behavior by claiming I am being obnoxious.
That doesn’t change how you were being a bad actor Dorp. it is fine to admit you were spiteful.

I have, so you are incorrect.

We should probably give him some time to himself. After all he can’t miss us if he’s never alone

Just chipping away at my time with him…

Spymaster Shaw, this is Agent Shadows. We have a rogue Kaldorei huntress kidnapping a male Sin’dorei in violation of the armistice. How should I proceed?

So allowing for 8 hours of sleep, I get 8, and then you get 8.

Unless we go with I get him for a day, he gets a day to himself, and then you have him the next day and so on.

High Elves didn’t work because Blizz is just saving them for when they really need to bring people back. They just don’t have the huevos to say it.

Probably the same reason we never got Ogres on the Horde even though it’s the one race that makes the most sense to add to the Horde…but nope we got w/e Nightborne are supposed to be and Vulpera, lol.

Then this wasn’t about the aesthetics, it was about entitlement.

As opposed to helves who’ve been around since vanilla and shown their distinction by [insert wet fart sound].

You’re literally describing the blood elf arc, just with the alliance instead of the horde and if anything more bland since the Sindorei didn’t give up much when they joined the horde; an arguement could be made that the sindorei are closer to upholding the values and identity of the thalassian people more then the Queldorei do now.

I really don’t see the connection. Just because some people wanted Alliance High Elves for aesthetics has nothing to do with entitlement. And even if aesthetics was their only motivator, it’s as good a reason as any to make the request.

As to the rest of your post, it’s clear you won’t take any response no matter how legitimate. Suffice it to say, I don’t agree with your assessment.

The Blood Elves were not the ones that left their homeland behind and had to assimilate into a different society. The Blood Elves were the ones who fought tooth and nail to preserve their society, even going so far as to do things they otherwise might not have… things that pushed some Thalassians to refuse to return to Quel’thalas and stay with the Alliance.

Past the point of their split, the story of the High Elves who remained with the Alliance is not the same story as the Blood Elves by any stretch of the imagination.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Pro High Elf Agenda:

  • Take away people’s ability to play Void Elves by renaming the race to High Elves.
  • Clone Blood Elves completely.
  • Paladins.
  • Taking Quel’thalas for the Alliance.
  • Deletion of Blood Elves.

You don’t speak for me.

The last line is fictitious but the rest isn’t.

It is fictitious if you’re implying that every pro-helfer, or even most pro-helfers, holds such an agenda.

Paladins for Night elves … yes. Void elf paladins is a bridge too far for me.[quote=“Truthspeaker-wyrmrest-accord, post:297, topic:562245”] Take away people’s ability to play Void Elves by renaming the race to High Elves.
Clone Blood Elves completely.
Paladins.
Taking Quel’thalas for the Alliance.
Deletion of Blood Elves.

Void elves can and are here to stay.

Please see some of the artwork people have used for a rendition of high elves, it’s still different from the new BE customizations.

Paladin- see above.

Quel’thalas can remain horde. The high elves we want haven’t been in Quel’thalas for some time.

If there were no blood elves, how would we have any horde to fight?? :upside_down_face:

I largely agree with your other points but even Blizzard has gone out of their way to differentiate Alliance side High Elves to Blood Elves.

They would not have a racial leader and be differentiated ingame if they were not different.

Some certainly do. We’ve all seen the posts and threads stating as such.

I want high elves, but I don’t want quel’thalas for them, i don’t want void elves taken away, and I’d prefer them to get their own model and AR so that they are more distinct from belves. I’d be sad if my belves were deleted.

What now?
