Why hasn't there been an official statement from Activision?

Not sure the forum moderators have noticed but the current conspiracy theory on the forums and youtubers is that Activision has someone at Blizzard HQ literally approving or disapproving design decisions.

Right now perception is leading to reality given the silence on the topic. The quick way to put an end to this would be to get an official statement from Activision about their relationship with Blizzard.

Currently big corporate companies like Activision and EA are being blamed for ruining games with microtransactions and Diablo: Immortal release has reinforced this perception.

It would be smart to get an official statement on the record that can be quoted to save yourselves a major problem in the future.

It’s like asking Bethesda why they released Fallout 76 in the state it was released in. They honestly thought the people would be distracted by colors.

This would require them to actually communicate. You know, that thing we keep being promised they’ll get better at…

Because if they tell the truth, their stock will plummet more. And if they lie, they can be legally culpable for it.

Why would EA or Activision tell the truth??? They will always say stuff to maintain an image

Your $$ is their pride and accomplishment :rofl:

Why would Activision, a company that has absolutely nothing to do with the running of Blizzard make any kind of statement?

Now Activision-Blizzard the company that owns both Activision and Blizard might make a statement about the running of either of its subsidiaries, but it isn’t likely to. Since at most its involvement with the running of Blizzard is to say you are spending too much money and not making enough, so make more money and spend less.

Stop blaming all this stuff on Activision. Blizzard is more than capable of doing all this garbage on its own.

We don’t even have CM’s who will post on their own forum and you expect Activsion to give people a statement on opinions?

Sort of my point. Something official that CM’s can point to stop the conspiracy theories. Right now the current trend is anything good with the game is because of Blizzard and anything bad is Activision.

Companies usually dont comment on interweb nerdies and their wild conspiracies and vast knowledge of how their companies run.

Do you really think a multi billion dollar company cares what 100-200 people say about them online?

And when can we stop pretending it’s just 100-200 people who are unsatisfied with the current state of things?

Yeah, tell that to the dead friend lists, dead raid teams, and dead guilds.

Yes, my point exactly. People should stop pretending it’s just a vocal minority that’s unsatisfied.

Well you’re RIP ip.

See ya.

What people should really do is stop pretending they know what everyone else thinks.

I took your comment the other way. text doesn’t have a tone of voice. My bad. :frowning:

I couldn’t agree more.

I just noticed they are now actively deleting threads about Acivision

it’s not all that bad , it serves a purpose ;

once the likes of EA and activision finally hit the ground, it’ll set new standards for the industry.

companies will work hard to stay away from anything EA/Activision-like and the industry will flourish from there.

hang in there. brighter days ahead.

it’d go as far as to say it must happen, otherwise everyone will think its cool.
