Why has Maintenance been Extended every week?

Just don’t come back at 10, or 12, or 1300…

like sitting at a computer chair posting on forums of the fantasy game. take your own advice. get back to work

Tuesday is a common Patch Day and in particular MS has had “Patch Tuesday” for 20+ years.

One thing you do not want to do, which people do anyway, is push a change Friday afternoon “because it has to go out” and then the pagers start going off Saturday morning, or Friday night.

Anyway, Tuesday is a slow day and there are three weekdays left to pick up the pieces should something go wrong.

if this game going to be like always update then its time to play diff game…

Everyone knows there is 13 in a dozen and you’ve always been settling for 12.

Tuesday probably is the optimal day though I’d think earlier would probably be better for NA as a whole, no love for the east coast

Also why does it not show on the launcher.

Compensation makes sense since game time counts down to the minute, so they could compensate us for the extra hrs.

agreed should be the normal 8 hours every tuesday like it use to be soo people would stop complaining about 3 4 or 5 hours lol

Im not defending the extended maintenance at all. If anything im critical of it, because it just shows that Blizzard should not have canned their QA team.

The weekly maintenance is to be expected.

Did someone added the overall downtime of the servers since the expansion release?

by “people” from Brampton, do you mean, “cheap Indian foreign labourers”?

people should be hired based on their qualifications for the actual job being performed and for no other reasons.

i personally believe a update on the issues they’ve had should be documented within each maintenace window, made available to read if you want.

staying silent never helps.

Any update on when we’re gonna be ready?

I believe so. I also think this is the result of Microsoft firing Blizzard’s QC.

Something something corporate something resources something don’t blame employees something something.

I quit the game 11 years ago because Tuesday was the only day I could play for an extended time frame.

Came back two weeks ago, Tuesday is till the only day I can plan for extended periods.

Guess I cancel before it renews next month, pointless to pay for a game I can’t play because of weekly server maintenance.

But then we’d know they didn’t do anything other than break things and fix a few of the newly broken things with each extended maintenance.
