I eat lemons by themselves. I also drink straight lemon juice, you know the little yellow lemon shaped bottles? I’m drinking one at my desk now.

Paintings of fruit displays were common in the same era that the paintings that were removed or altered are modeled after.
Paintings of cookies did not exist during that time period, especially since they didn’t exist at that time. Cookies are more an American thing. The game is a medieval fantasy game and has medieval imagery.
No, it’s High Fantasy. There are medieval influences in the game, but there is literally nothing medieval about tauren, or the goblin starting zone, or many other things. They could’ve replaced it with whatever image they wanted.

no, i mean, i know it’s a fruit. i’m saying that lemons don’t belong in a fruit bowl. fruit bowls are where you store your apples or your pears or your bananas. things you can easily grab on your way out the door, you know? no one grabs a lemon on their way to work.

Because the current devs lack wit and imagination. I mean look at all the other replacements, none are funny, let alone plain fun. Instead they are flat and uninspired.

Another way they could of done things, replacing those pictures with family portraits of like nobility or something rather than random bowls of fruit. Something where all genders are represented equally
