Poisons can be cured. now we get SPAM nuked at range for 250-300. Nerf hunter pets. Make lone wolf more attractive. Pets are raid bosses that do more damage alone with 0 skill while the hunter is AFK than ANY other class. Nerf. Nerf. Nerf. Nerf Nerf.

Honestly if they buffed Lone Wolf and made it viable i’d switch in a second.
I hate having to rely on a pet’s AI when I should be able to Aim Shot kill people across the zone like God intended.

I think they made hunters OP in SoD because they knew a lot of non-classic players were going to try it and wanted to distract people from how awful ammo and vanilla pet mechanics were.
Now you can’t complain about hunter vanilla mechanics because all the threads about them are about how disgustingly OP they are.
…I have a confession.
I actually like the Vanilla Pet mechanics with the feeding and loyalty stuff.
It actually makes me feel somewhat attached to my virtual pet.
Like a Tamagotchi, except it rips people apart and makes them post 1,000 rage posts.

Hunters were already making the transition from scorpid to wind serpent before the scorpid nerf even went live.
Lone Wolf was more attractive at 25%. It was nerfed pre launch. Same for sniper training. It was more attractive, but nerfed pre launch.

Cast any cc ability on the pet. It cannot trinket it.
No they changed how scaling works and wind serp got buffed when scorp got nerfed.
and then they nerfed KC so it doesn’t work with serpent, thus nerfing serpent.
Kill command only works with bite and claw.

I can’t wait till Blizz nerfs my pet into an emotional support animal.

Serpent will be the least of your worries.
lone wolf is a lame playstyle, just play mage at that point; but pref i suppose. MOST hunters like their pet, esp in classic eras; before they became useless/hollow aside from the 1 button they provide in later xpacs.
and u aint getting killed by an afk hunter, you’re getting killed by a hunter putting his pet on u and kiting while u do nothing because you got opened on from ranged by a pure ranged dps class.
phase 2 will be gorilla meta for about a week before it gets nerfed into the ground

I never tamed a gorilla, does it have claw and bite to benefit from kill command?..

yea man its very interactive to just die from 100% unable to do literally anything, very skillful
If a hunter dies to somebody its bc they literally dont have a keyboard
