Why even hold the Q&A session?

The Q&A's have been absolutely useless for a while. Instead of answering questions directly, they'd rather spend that hour giving constant nonanswers.

It's great that the staff is aware of how bad the game is right now, but answering every single piece of criticism with "We're not happy how this system works" and "we're looking into that" is rather demoralizing.

If you're going to prescreen questions, why pick ones that you can't even answer properly?
Would love to actually see the question float by on twitch chat and them answer it. It would be much more organic and respectful. its not hard to pause a chat and read a sentence.
Twitch chat would probably just ask Ion about ghost stories.

Yup this is what Im expecting... Blizz staff goes through questions.. ok one vaguely pointing out the problems, quick apology again, then fluff question, fluff question, fluff question, something about flying.. everything is OK and thanks for coming to Q&A
Because people still defend Blizzard even though, repeatedly, they lie and deceive their players in the face. So long as people do not treat and uphold Blizzard to the standards that other AAA's are held to (Ubisoft, Microsoft, Sony, EA, etc..), we'll continue to have these and nothing will change.

No matter what the MVPs say about talk about what we want to hear, all we get is redirection, told no, or not answering it.
That's what happens when a lawyer starts talking.

You haven't actually watched any of the Q&As.

Ion is known for going into too much detail with his answers prescreened or not. Seems to me you just feel like complaining about whatever. Maybe you should make a flying thread?
Oh you forgot the good one. Its the players fault. not our fault the way the game is now. never forget that one. Then the one players do not understand the game. we been playing for 14 years. I think we get it by now. well mostly. Im looking at some players who can not get into the box to find a clue.
How else will we hear Lore’s personal anecdotes?
They do it because some people still buy into their BS.

Why would Twitch chat need to ask Ion about ghost stories? A rundown of BFA's content is the spookiest story of them all!

1. I wish I didn't honestly, but the reality is that I've watched every single BfA Q&A that came out so far, the last one was especially bad.

2. The reason it's demoralizing, is because Blizzard saying "We're aware of the issue", or "we're working on it" means nothing. It hasn't for a while, because of how often they misuse that phase. Have you seen all the uncapped threads on GD, where a blue would post "Yeah we're uncapping this so we can gather feedback!", then fell silent? One that I can note off the top of my head is the auto accept removal thread. That's pretty much the same thing.

The Q&A's are pretty much the only place that you get to see devs actually talk, and answer questions. Hence the name. They communicate very little outside of that, to the point of where CM's are attacked for being the only staff who actually post. It turns these sessions into a complete waste of time.

3. I agree that Ion is great at going into detail about things. It doesn't change the fact that he mostly gives nonanswers,

How so? Please, be specific.

So are you just ignoring all the times they used this phrase and then went ahead and changed the game due to player feedback? I mean, cause that is what you're doing.

You don't seem to understand what the forums are for. The forums are here for us players to talk about the game. The blues are simply flies on the wall reporting back to the developers what we talk about.

There are plenty of memes Ion has spawned from his very direct responses from the Q&As. I'm not buying what you're selling. Perhaps instead of just vaguely complaining about the Q&As you should tell me - what questions do you actually want answered in the next Q&A?

Please, be specific.
