you couldnt handle real vanilla. it was too hard for you new kids. go read a guide and do exactly what it tells you to do from when us real vanilla players figured it out and play classic lite

Because they lost the data and could not recompile it. They earliest version of vanilla WoW they had was 1.12 which is classic wow.

They didn’t lose it. They chose 1.12 on purpose, because it was the least buggy of 1.0.

I don’t understand this thread.

I was enjoying classic and got my warrior to 39 before I dropped it. I just got sick and tired of getting my XP gimped because my friend and I dared to want to play together. The game was already a slog not factoring getting XP halved because I wanted to play with a friend. If that’s people’s jam, more power to them, I personally hated it.

If only there was something like a WoW Classic, ya know, that was vanilla WoW, and you can play it for free if you maintain your WoW subscription?

I guess Blizzard has never made anything like that at all, nope nada zip zilch.

  1. Go to the launcher.
  2. Click on the WoW drop down box.
  3. Select classic.
  4. Click the big play button on the bottom. Can’t miss it.

It must have been insanely tough to master the art of literally moving 3 inches in any direction to avoid fire once every 2 minutes in 95% of encounters.

dont act like you would have even been in that raid to dodge that fire, you would probably still be level 32 and ghost logged in Stranglethorn Vale.
