Why don't solo dungeons gear scale?

I wanna play solo dungeons, regular, heroic, mythic, and get gear for raiding or whatever. why doesn’t it just scale?

because thats not how wow is coded.

its the same gear, just different numbers on the i lvl code line… how is that impossible?

Solo dungeons scale. Follower ones don’t.

what does this mean?

because its not a replacement for M+ or raiding. Its a tool for solo players to clear content and maybe farm mogs.

Heroic/Mythic dungeons can be solo’d. You just won’t have NPCs helping you.

Cuz its not timewalking ?

So it’s a waste of time? stop this madness let the damn gear scale

i agree people just hate solo players on these forums

they think the game would be better off without you

when we keep the lights on!

I don’t think people hate solo players. I think people would rather development time go towards making the MMO feel more like an MMO.

its too late for that they are designing entire systems catering toward solo players in Warthin

goes to show the powar of our dollar

There is a difference between impossible and outside the scope of game design. The game is designed to have players conquer higher level group content for the highest level gear.

I think the intention of follower dungeons was to share the story to more players. It wasn’t supposed to be a replacement gearing path.

It will be in TWW with Delevs though. Will be interesting how they will scale difficulty to justify it as a viable gearing path.

It’s an MMO. Playing with other people is the point.

At Ultima Online you did go to dungeons by yourself too, sometimes you met someone and he killed you and stole your gear though. :yum:

Mandatory grouping is not a sign for more MMO, its a living world where everything can happen and be witnessed.

WOW in my opinion, is way to focused on mandatory grouping for almost all content, so that the MMO aspect does not truly shine here. The game feels more like a shooter or moba right now.

You can’t. Follower dungeons are an entirely separate thing, run only as Normal, for story mode purposes.

No. It’s just not meant for what you want to do.

Most likely it’s just a chance at one piece a week, like the current weekly quests. Delves aren’t meant as a way to gear up for raiding.

Lol, no. People just want to afk and collect loot in this game apparently.

If you want better gear, you have to do harder content. Welcome to World of Warcraft.

When are you gonna prove that?
