wHY DON'T GNOMES GET more lore?

maybe they do have a rapport, just it’s off-screen most of the time.

honestly though, i think gnomes have plenty of lore. robots, flesh-changed into gnomes, which then continue to do tech-y things… pretty unique lore. the only unfortunate bit, is they have’nt evolved beyond that.

Sounds more like bigotry to be honest.

It’s prolly because you are closer to its light.

Tells felguard you know you have to keep gnome pet on leash. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Which consisted of “Somehow, Thermaplugg returned” and the city getting nuked again.

I wouldn’t say that. Sometimes its just a preference.

Footballs don’t have any lore.

Seems a shame they weren’t included in any of the pre-expansion short stories.

Sometimes yeah. Usually it’s not though.

Orcs have their clans, elves and humans have noble houses. Goblins have their cartels and corporations. Even Earthen have the purposes for which they were made. What’s going on with gnome society? Is everyone just a wacky mad scientist out for themselves, not actually standing out from each other any more than Buzz Lightyear in the toy store among the surplus? It’s be interesting if they had “colleges” or something that focused on specific things like teleportation technology, mecha, the synergy between tech and various forms of magic like arcane, light, fel, etc. Better than them just being Mimirons that got turned into little flesh things, having done nothing with thousands of years of being a society, at any rate… If that’s all they are, then I don’t blame King Mechagon and the Cybermen parodies in Borean Tundra for just wanting to be robots again.

it’s a democracy with the head of state given the title king.

Some things are more of a waste than others.

The Season of Discovery and setting new stuff in Hallowfall but offering no fast travel to the new content area are bigger wastes.

Democracy eh? Then I vote for Gnome heritage armor to have a variant with a blue long sleeve top and long pointy red hat.

You know, since the last expansion (of this trilogy) has us returning to Ulduar, I think we’ll see Mimiron again and probably get a nugget or two of Gnomish stuff, since he’s basically the origin-gnome lol. (And most likely some Earthen and other titanforged racial stuff. Maybe even Vrykul? Won’t know until we get there.)

Meritocracy actually. The gnome who contributes most to gnomish society through their inventions is made the leader as they see it as a quality of intellectual capability.

This has nothing to do with lore, but often I think about race changing my gnome mage. And then I throw a top hat on her and suddenly she’s the best thing ever. So yeah, give gnomes whatever they want, thanks.

It’s there, burried deep under Gnomeregan
:fishing_pole_and_fish:

We got mushroom hats, fox mounts, a steam punk set, and pink hair cosmetics.

How much more lore could you want?
