and feel like they should have more of a report with draenei cuz of the technology and getting kicked out of their home by mutant freaks
They had heaps of lore. It just went over their heads
Really guys?
We couldn’t make it past the second post without a short joke?
You get out of here
Stop hitting my hoves with that paper.
We could send gomes down into that radiation pit called gnomeregon to retrieve it.
They’re also both heavily tech and magic oriented races so they have even more in common beyond that but yeah they seem to basically never shown to interact at all, I think since they’re a gag race they don’t put much effort into their lore but I mean Goblins just got a ton of attention in this expansion so maybe there’s hope for Gnomes yet.
Maybe blizzard was short on time
“Rests drink on head”
Are you saying that gnomes got the short end of the stick?
meme race that nobody takes seriously, 95% of gnome players do so ironically
I mean they had some mechagnome stories in like BFA right?
Asking for more Gnome lore is a bit of a reach, tbh.
More of a tall order. Then a bit of a reach tbh
I feel at times the only lore the developers care about are Orc/Human lore first and Troll/Dwarf lore second.
Everyone else is forgotten about unless the expansion has something to do with them - e.g. Blood Elves, pretty much abandoned since TBC.
Every time they’ve tried to take back Gnomeregan they’ve always come up short.
I have a theory that the reason why we’re not getting so much attention is because Blizzard’s writing is doggy doo doo.
Which falls into irony that we’re the most original races to exist.
Not only that… but if Gnome/Mechagnomes WERE to get another spotlight…
We would be seen alongside the Titans. Boy howdy the Old Gods would HAAAAAATE that.
And Void Elves.
Well we could put the tall jokes on the top shelf but then they wouldn’t be able to see them
Humans, orcs, elves get lore every expansion. Trolls in most expansion. BFA was how long ago again?
We had relevance back in BfA with Mekkatorque fighting at Dazar’alor, our heritage questline, and all of Mechagon. The response from the community was mostly endless seething over us getting our own allied race because of the belief that we had robbed the Alliance of a chance at one with a more unique silhouette; usually a specific race that the Alliance had the bare minimum amount of positive interactions with and had one or two things “hinting” that it would be playable.
How dare you!
You know what?!
Summons Felguard
How about I sick my Felguard on you?
