I’ve seen a lot of topics about reputation grind. So, since WoD dungeons and raids don’t give more reputation. Why? I don’t understand that change. IMO, if Blizzard reverse these change, the reputation grind is easier than actual state.
A good example of this topic, is The Ashen Verdict reputation. They give:
Because getting rep in dungeons/raids goes against Blizzard’s tight unrelenting control of how fast we as players can get things done. Players would have a choice and the current devs HATE player choice and HATE knowing players could get something done “faster than intended”.
yeah, it made sense to gate crap when it was current…such as pathfinder (even though it doesnt need to exist to begin with) but in OLD content you’d think they’d WANT us getting thru it ASAP to get into current content.
Guess not.
They actually making my life better by not removing these old grinds. I can stay in old content forever doing it all while the BFA clock winds down and is finally over.
They frequently use reputation as a way to time gate certain rewards or features. What could change is the way we gain the reputation. Figure out the effective cap on reputation you could earn thru daily quests, then allow that cap to be earned thru quests or grinding out instances. This way people have a choice how they want to earn it but it still takes the same amount of time to reach the final goal.
