Curious if anyone knew the logic here. Why did the Hunter get it but not the actual Dead class? Seems WAY more fitting for a DK to have it than a Hunter. Is there some old lore I am unaware of?
They did die though. They didn’t “feign it”.

Why would a Death Knight need to pretend to die when they are already dead?
If there were another class to get Feign Death, it’d probably be rogues considering they’re into trickery tricks.

Feign death is a survival tactic for hunters both in and out of game and always has been where as Death knights don’t fake death but rather cause it in droves. Thus why the Hunter class has the ability to feign death and DK don’t

One of the reasons Death Knights became Death Knights is because they did a bad job feigning.

Yeah, I guess I am just showing my age here lol… EQ Had a Shadow Knight (Necromancer/Warrior Hybrid) and they got FD. I used it all the time there. Would go in Skeletal form and FD so it really did look like FD and fit the class.
I feign interest in the mundane cares of the living. So sayeth the undead in undercity.

Death Knights do not feign death because they are not cowards. More to the fact, they should be able to see right through it when a hunter tries to use it. It will just make the hunter an easier target.

Death knights are just hunters who failed their feign death class.

It is weird that there’s never been a moment where Death Knights just lie down with their eyes close and spring a trap for their enemies.
Because you are already dead, so feigning it would see a little redundant?
When I close my eyes the glow still comes through… it’s a dead giveaway.
