I don’t understand why Blizzard doesn’t add quivers to the bow models anymore. It was super nice and visually pleasing to have it for the artifact weapon, but now hunters are back to materializing arrows out of thing air and it just looks down right silly. There are so many cool bow models in the game, but them not having quivers is really detracting in my opinion. Even a simple grey quiver on the back for 90% of bows would be acceptable.
Well, BM Hunters don’t know how to use quivers anymore.

Don’t tell Blizz but I still have mine in my bank.
I think there used to be, I vaguely remember seeing them on the classic servers.
Same reason swords don’t have scabbards.
One of the things I’ve suggested for years is items we can mog in the cloak slot, like backpacks, totems, spellbooks, etc. Quivers would be one of those things.
Yea, quivers were in vanilla, and the were even on the classic demo blizz put up for Blizzcon. Which makes me question it even further, its something they are fully able to do and have demonstrated their ability to do it in the past and present, yet for some reason they don’t want to do this small thing that would be visually pleasing for a lot of people.
Now this is a transmog option I can get behind!
Sucks that only MM hunters can get quivers via Thas’dorah.
I’ve always wished each class would have its own unique slot where a class themed item would go.
Hunters could have quivers/bullet bag/something for survival.
Paladins maybe a holy book or symbol.
Rogue the pistol/shurikens, etc.
Would add a lot of class flavor.
Also a good spot for class or spec unique bonuses or something.
I keep my arrows in the same bag I put my fist weapons in…
I don’t play hunters, but I’m all for anything that adds more immersion in WoW.
So, why not have quivers, and unique Bows could have unique quivers.
this annoys…
not grasping why specs can see all weapons mog except the artifact ones of other specs.
I wish we had quivers, but I’m really just happy my Sentinel’s Recurve has unique, hi-res arrows. That is what we really need; every bow needs to have arrows designed specifically for it instead of some random, ugly 2004 resolution rods.
I can throw unlimited hatchets
and the code is there. just need to work with the voodoo magic that is MM hunter artifact appearance.
we have the quiver. it changes looks as we add appearance aspects and mog to them.
I’d even take the vertical arrangement. I’d like the more horizontal one belt mounted quiver one (skyrim players into archery will know this mod well lol) for a cooler look. But keep as is, straight and up on the back to make life easy.
clipping…not picky here. even skyrim with many ways to work this has quiver clipping with cloaks. You do 2 things…
- Deal with it
- hide/don’t run cloaks (skyrim option lol…wow just hide this).
2 is what many of us MM hunters with artifact mog do it seems. I hide my cloak and see many on my server do likewise.
I personally run with option “1. Deal with it”.
We’ve been asking for this for years and they still haven’t given it to us
They teased us with quivers in WoD, showing us a hunter wearing one in one of the teaser previews. Then they told us in the same expansion they were working on letting paladins use librams, too. Other good customization options were in the works for everyone, right?
Well, yes. For one expansion, we got a few artifacts that had those features. I was a MM hunter all through Legion and thoroughly enjoyed my spec, but I don’t enjoy BFA MM, so I swapped to BM. Now I’ve suddenly and mysteriously forgotten how to equip a quiver, and lost one of my absolute favorite transmog options (the Mage Tower bow, like a hi-res Rhok’delar) and am really disappointed by that. Basically, they really need to step up the customization game. Give me quivers and stop spec locking artifacts whose locks don’t make sense.
Do they ever given a reason as to why there is a distinct and noticeable lack of quivers?
The same reason male/female forms of warlock demons were shelved.
“We don’t have time for it,” I’m sure.
