Any reason why 3+ min cooldowns always reset when boss resets, but 2 min cooldowns don’t? What’s the logic? It just seems to cause needless downtime for specific specs and not others.
The same reason demon hunters can use their 5 minute cd Metamorphosis and have the cd reset when a key starts, but DKs can’t have our 8 minute cd Army of the Dead reset when a key starts.
I would say favoritism but I’m pretty sure it’s just an oversight.

They are just inconsistent with what abilities reset, like many things in the game they don’t really bother to test them out.

Ahnk is a specific spell where I can actually support Blizzard on not allowing it to reset, as it can definitely be abused to cheese a lot of boss encounters. If people find other ways outside the raid to reset it then they have to commit the extra time and effort to constantly summon the sham back.
Yet devs have specifically stated that ankh is a defensive cd, and it existing is why shamans will always lack in defensives/survivability.
Don’t you guys have a 40% damage reduction 1 min cooldown spell? That’s as strong as a Pain Suppression, whereas priests have a pathetic +25% hp personal
40%, 1.5m cd.
Pain suppression has a few other bonuses.
