Maps are likely intended to throw a wrench into matchups.
Well they suck and I hate them
I was a lobby away from 2400 on Fury and now I’m 2286 cause I ran into MM, Surv, DH on Maldraxxus with a R Sham that just gave up and threw the last round cause a R Druid was working him >_>
It’d be boring if they were all the same.
So just standardize radius of arena with slight differences in pillar shape and amount

Each spec/class has advantages or disadvantages depending the map. Lordaeron is great for my enhance. Enigma Crucible on the other hand is not. As far as RSS goes though, it’s annoying that Hook Point and Dalaran Sewers are not in the mix. Need to help out those back peddlers some I guess.
They don’t exist in the same world though. Lordaeron is in the Eastern Kingdoms on Azeroth and Maldraxxus is its own plane of existence in the Shadowlands.
This is actually THE main issue with the 6 round system.
The map diversity is good. It creates situations where counter comps can have their advantages taken away due to map size. They changes match ups so it’s not so black and white.
The problem is being stuck to a single map for what is essentially 6 separate matches, but the players don’t change.
You mean like any other competitive PvP game in existence…no that would make too much sense

All the maps should be available all the time.

Maldraxxus is fine
Zereth mortis was a fantastic addition
Robodome is ok
Nagrand feels a little dated. Lowkey feels too small
If they want a “wrench arena” let it be Ruins of Lord and then take any other gimmick map out of the rotation and put it in the burner

easily the worst non z axis map
the map as a whole is far too large and the pillars have little groves that make it impossible to stop drinks or stick to things
