Wow is a PVE game. PvP is a failed side bar.
Wow is story driven and is really at its best in a pve environment.
Do I want wow PVP canceled? Yes. absolutely.
I enjoy PvP but not the way wow does it.

Of course, I’m very thankful for Echoes, because I can actually get them on my non-PvP characters now, but I still think it was a horrid design from the outset.

I’ve been waiting for this claim. In 2014 Holinka said there were just as many doing random bg’s as doing LFR. And in 2016 a blue stated that majority of players do LFR.
The claim that WoW is a pve game is bull.

Because there are no PvP vendors to allow me to gear in a way that I want.
Finding guilds that do rated bgs is difficult and 75% of the time in randoms no one is paying attention to objectives.
No interest in arenas.
Battle for Nazjatar, a zone wide PvP event, can’t handle more than 50 players in the zone without it lagging. Let alone when raids show up.
And lastly, because WvW in GW2 exists

I am active in random BG’s and WPVP (Warmode now, Lightninghoof was RPPVP).
I actually don’t see any difference between WotLK to BFA regarding PVP beside the fact that i no longer need to grind the gear in order to jump in PVP activities.
Cuz like everything else in the game it is dominated by mythics + gear and I dont do mythics+.
I mean, resource expenditure wise the game is definitely a pve game, PvP barely gets anything.
PvP and pve are very fundamentally different.
PvP is highly unpredictable competitive gameplay.
Pve is very scripted cooperative gameplay.
It makes an absolute metric ton of sense that they do not enjoy each other’s form of content. Which is why they should divide them again with different stats and set bonuses 
it actually made no sense for them to be using the same stuff because they’re gonna feel compelled to do content they don’t enjoy for advantages.

People just say Bfa is bad for pvp. And just keep recycling the same old thing over and over. They dont even say why its bad for pvp. They just recycle what other people say. These are the worst kinds of people. So awful to be around. They recycle what other people say for a lot of things. Just have a generated response for things.
War mode wasn’t intended to help PVP in an absolute sense. War mode was intended to fix the PVP flagging mess that was created with sharding in Legion.

PvP in BfA is bad because all PvP is dominated by elite PvEers, who have ready access to the best gear. People who gear through PvP will always be behind.
“Casual PvP” is not a thing anymore, since the people who used to subscribe to do random bgs were driven out by players with such superior gear that it no longer seemed worth subbing.
BfA PvP is designed by mythic raiders for mythic raiders.
So you know what people are saying and you figure it couldn’t possibly be that everybody else agrees and you are wrong, it must be that they just repeat something they don’t believe in.

No BFA pvp is great. Its the most modern and up to date wow. For the better. People just have bad taste.
Its like destro locks. Someone thought it was cool to say destro locks are op. Now a bunch of clowns just repeat destro locks are op. And dont even know why. Just recylers.

Hell if the faction imbalance keeps going the way it is, people won’t have to worry about pvp, there won’t be anyone on the other side to kill.
