PvP is give and take between both Factions. You will see the worse in people when they are losing in chat. I tend not to say something unless all the person or persons are doing is yelling at people.
If those spent that rage in yelling and actually focusing on playing, perhaps they would win more matches. You can tell how bad a player will be, not by their gear but how they act before the match starts by saying “We lost” or “Let’s just end this BG quickly” or “Alliance sucks, or Horde sucks” There are many more comments I see on both sides that it is very cringe worthy.
I enjoy PvP as the next person, just wish people would keep their attitudes out of the game, or just don’t que if PvP makes you a raging Lunatic.

I do but not nearly as much in BfA as in the past, mostly because
I’ve gotten a few elite mogs but other than that not much interest in BfA PVP. Hopefully it’s more fun in SL. Looking forward to vendors!
I have never had an experience pvp’ing that didn’t leave me hating humanity.

I saw far too much of that during Korrock’s Revenge on Alliance. Sometimes I wondered whether they were Horde mercenaries or Alliance making the rest look bad.
I like it as a [very] occasional distraction.
But ultimately, I don’t like the way MMORPG (and this applies to MOBA too) PvP is almost entirely based around timing CC and Burst. It just results in fights being who can burst someone from 100 to 0 during a CC window first. It’s not fun or engaging.
If I want to spend much time in PvP, I’d rather play a Shooter where losses generally come from map/game knowledge and aim instead of unfun bursts of you not being able to do anything.

I hate it. PvP only brings the absolute worst of people. I like to play games to enjoy and have fun and not to deal with a bunch of idiots who cannot separate in game enemies from real life ones and end acting like complete douchebags.

True but so can folks that do PVE.
It’s not specific to PVP at all.

True, I’ve seen bad attitude in LFR
Very true. But the PvP toxicity bleeds into even the most casual parts of it, whereas it’s far less common in a generic dungeon.
Now of course, when we get up to Mythic+, things start to get fairly equal in my mind

I’ve seen it everywhere, from sitting in town to doing raids or dungeons.
People don’t know how to chill, and some just love to get under peoples’ skin online.
But it does happen in raids. Just like Uncommited, I’ve seen it happen in LFR.
I have to deal with far fewer rectal fedoras in LFR than I have had to deal with in my few attempts at pvp.
What if PvP had weapons 10 levels higher than Raids. And you could work towards those weapons with Conquest? Am I crazy?

Saw the /follow nerf in PvP combat everywhere, LoL’d and turned off warmode pronto. Even now just doing PvE that stupid ‘fix’ appears.
Haven’t bothered with warmode at all this expansion. Mission accomplished? I guess!
What if we just bring back the WoD scaling system?

I could reword this
to higher end content. I don’t disagree with you.
That is, if you can call LFR higher end content. lmao
Feels about the same to me everywhere I go. There’s always someone in an LFR group complaining, always someone in a BG complaining, always someone raging over arena losses, etc. And usually they seem like fruitless complaints that just arise from someone not being able to control their temper. I tend to just stay quiet most of the time and try to do my job, but I see people getting ripped apart quite regularly.
Not to mention people just being awful in trade chat or randomly whispering (which is more rare but it happens).

It could have weapons 100 ilevels higher than PvE and I still wouldn’t subject myself to PvP.

I do not PvP because that is not why I play WoW. There are other games I can PvP in that do it better or that are more fun for me.
I know it isn’t the best, but I love the realm vs realm that is in GW2. Mainly because the small group I usually play with are not really worried about winning. Being all primarily stealth, we play to harass back lines and lone scouts.
