Why doesn't the Pantheon help Azeroth?

Its like the biggest plot hole of the century.

We stopped the legion, freed the titans, set everything right, and now the titans can’t be bothered to help one of their own?

What gives?

Remember Algalon the Observer? I think that them staying out of things it the best outcome for us.

They are basically dead. They have enough power to contain the spirit of Sargeras with Illidan’s help, and that’s about it.

The Pantheon are not fully back to life. They’re just fragments of their spirits, a shadow of what they once were. It’s taking all of their combined power plus Argus’ to keep Sargeras chained at the Seat. They’re prisoners too and can’t leave it either or Sargeras will break free.

Insert every powerful person/thing/creature that has helped us. What is Khadgar doing these days?

wheres the vindicaar hehe

why’d alliance show up to a blight fight without protection ? big blight machines all along the road to undercity. si:7 has intel about the blight, surely. undead have been known to dump blight on friend and foe alike, witness the wrathgate. alliance walks right up to syl’s front door, no blight protection.

Story wise, because they’re keeping Sargeras contained. Mechanics wise, because it would be ridiculous and boring if we could just summon the pantheon to smite everything.

Sounds like World of Warcraft 10.0. You just know he’s gonna break free and we’ll have to fight him…again.

The Pantheon legendary trinket helped get rid of Ml for good

Pretty sure Illidan straight murdered Sargey.

It appears that completely killing them is impossible, so “dead” is probably misleading, but yeah… they’re super low powered right now, basically trying to recover from what Sargeras did to them, and at the same time, they have to use whatever power they do have to keep Sargeras imprisoned. They have a lot on their plate.

A little golf and some gardening, but mostly writing new jokes.

They’ve been dead for thousands of years, and they’ve got a ways to go to come back from that, and they’re using what little strength they do have to keep Sargeras locked up.

How else are we going to get another raid with Illidan as a final boss?

Illidan merges with Sargeras becoming Illigeras or Saridan!

Oh i don’t know that sounds better then the storyline we have know

Probably trying to prevent a portal that leads to the Twisting Nether from opening up at Karazhan.
Space Pirates!

I want to believe.

They need a nap after that whole argus debacle.

What’s left of the Pantheon are basically constructs with their essence that are at a fraction of the power they once were.

And they locked themselves in a room with the unceremoniously deposed commander of the Burning Legion, and a Night-Elf with a Grudge and the war-blades of Azzinoth.

They’re dead until the writers need them for the expansion after the next one after BFA.
