Why doesn’t alliance run WC (Wailling caverns)? It’s such a fun dungeon.
Kind of out of the way, by the time you’re remotely prompted to go near the Barrens you already outleveled the place.
You can do deadlines maybe 6 times in the time it’ll take you to find a group and run there
Because it’s in the middle of a Horde Zone where if you’re high enough level to get to it conveniently, you’re too high level to bother with the dungeon.
Go from IF/SW, you either go through Dustwallow Marsh, or STV.
Go from Darnassus, and you cross through Ashenvale. And, we have alternatives to run. Deadmines.
That’s such a BS excuse. By that logic, alliance should run SM because it’s so far.

I love WC. I’ve ran is 4 times on Earthfury since level 15.
We just swam from Westfall to Booty Bay. 100% safe in the water along fatigue area.
Alliance don’t have WC quests, the leveling efficiency is just not worth it…not many will share your inefficient leveling methods my friend.
I’ve done it once before as Alliance on pservers, it was fun. It isn’t that bad getting there, just hug the coast from Theramore to Ratchet. But the problem is getting anyone else to run it, so it’s super rare that you get the opportunity before you’ve already outleveled it.
They get a couple, especially the 10 slot bag and a choice of the of 19 think leather belt recipe for LW. Don’t lie about not having anything to do there
I can think of a lot of words and terms to describe WC, but “fun” isn’t one of them. “Chore” says it better IMO, at least from a Horde POV, because the XP and quest rewards make it so that it’s almost mandatory to run. If you’re running it with a less than competent group, it can be a real mess, too.
At least the lore and story is good, for those of us who are into such things.

There is a perception that is it out of the way. It is hard to get a group together to run out there, especially when that same group could go run deadmines several times in the time it takes that same group to run out to WC.
Part of this perception was that in the early months of Classic, most players (not all. but a lot) were looking for the most optimized and quickest route to 60 and running out to WC was not on the optimized leveling route.
I agree it is a fun dungeon and has some great gear for the level, some of the best lvl19 twink gear is in there.
So what you are saying is, people need to play optimally to play classic. We have proven that this makes the game a giant joke already for doing so.
Heck look at sfk for alliance. No one wants to run that. Or even help people trying to do there class quests there.
Hell, I’m Horde, and the only time I’ve done WC is when some guildies asked me along. Hate that place. WC, Mara, and ST can all die in a fire.

Getting completely lost in a sadistic labyrinth and trying to guide a group mate back after they fail the jump … not my cup o tea
ST is more of a labyrinth then WC.
ST is pretty simple, concentric circles. But I hate that one too.
And both should die in a fire. Best thing to ever happen to ST was half the place getting blocked off during the Cataclysm.
