I use the click function of the middle mouse for auto-run, so when I’m flying straight (non-dragonflying) I can just click and fly straight and focus on other stuff.

Its best not to not use middle mouse for abilities that benefit from mouseovers. Idk why it doesn’t work but its been that way since forever.

Do you mean the janky, built in Mouseover or your own?

I use Clique for mouse button stuff and Middle mouse works fine. I use it for B-Rez for example.

I use it for slow, and in delves I use it constantly. On my warrior it’s charge. Again, constant use.

Works well.

Oops sorry, I rarely use mouseover macros so I read your original post incorrectly. Hope you can get it working!

It could just be the mouse. I currently use an old Naga Razr, but next time I want to try Logitech.

I’ve used middle mouse with Clique for mouse-over casting and never had an issue with either a naga or g600. These days I just use it for targetting though (same as tab)

I use a Logitech g502 and use my middle mouse for targeting (middle click and shift middle click are target party 3 and enemy arena 3 respectively) and don’t have any issues with it

I’ve got the fix for you. Change your middle mouse button in your mouse software to a numpad key, then rebind in WoW.

If you don’t have decent mouse software, download MS Powertoys.

I do this for every button that has this problem. I use a non Logitech trackball, so it’s often a limitation.

Sometimes the “it doesn’t happen to me so it doesn’t exist” factor is pretty high around here.

There’s a bunch of very weird things with click/mouseover casting. Some abilities require you to bind it to the action bar, not the click casting menu built into the game and some require you to have no target in order to cast (flourish is one of those weird no real target abilities). I don’t think I’ve had any problems with middle mouse button in particular but I know there are some quirks. If you’re having problems with the built-in click casting menu I would recommend binding it to an action bar slot and using the games built in keybinding configuration tool and see if that helps, or vice versa.

Tbh I have mine bound, but I never use it lol.
I have a forward and back button right behind my mouse wheel I use for mounting and auto run.
With all my other binds, wheel clicking feels unnecessary.

Razer naga chroma. Funny enough. I not only have mouse wheel click, but mouse wheel click left and right :joy:

Never had an issue with it.

It’s my autorun key, but also has mouse over functions when over a nameplate.

I don’t use macros for those though, I use an add-on called Clique.

i use vuhdo, middle mouse works fine for it.
