Grouping with 4 other friends doesn’t count…. Don’t try to argue this anything less than full group is a meaningless change. Why can’t I not do tw with my ally buddies toons when im horde? I’m not making another pointless alt for one type of 5 man content
petty cryboomers, mostly. queue times would be so much faster if there was cross faction queuing but nope, can’t have that because “AS A LONG TIME PLAYER THIS IS A SLAP IN THE FACE I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ORCS MIXED IN WITH MY GROUP OF NIGHT ELVES”
they could even make it so that they appear as your faction on your screen like how mercenary bgs do it

I suppose the answer is they haven’t made it this way. I’d like to see follower dungeons for this content.
M+ and raiding is ok but 5 mans are sacred?

Sure, sounds good. Group finder queued content might have some additional technical hurdles.

Nah, all “LFG” dungeons/raids aren’t cross-faction, not yet anyways.
If you make a group manually, like for Raid or M+, you can choose if you want it to be cross-faction or not.
Rated PvP though, that’s been cross-faction for years lol.
And it’s recently become queueable as of DF.
So 5 man like heroic or tw should be mixed also. Add an opt out for people who don’t want it. Let them have longer que times it’s on them

I think everyone would benefit from shorter queues.
If Rated PvP wasn’t cross-faction, the queues would take forever.

It makes too much sense they won’t do it. This is the same people that remove cool things because “it requires too much thinking” from classes
Unfortunately, their real reason was posted. They don’t want to “force” cross faction grouping. Despite the fact it exists in PvP and follower dungeons, apparently rdf and lfr are the most sacred of sites to the faction conflict crowd. It’s immensely stupid, but it is Blizzard’s reasoning.
There’s no sign of a technical hurdle since people can already queue as a 5 man into all the tw dungeons, I believe it simply uses the group leader’s faction for this as it does in M+
What a lame and absolute thinnnnnnnnnnnnnn reason. It doesn’t hold up if people had an issue with it m+ would be filled with horde only groups or ally only groups. But they are not who are they catering to? Ghosts ? Non players people who log on for 10 mins and go “I did something” and log off
All 5 people still talking about the faction conflict, I imagine. It is dumb and annoying though.
So let those 5 people not get a group in the opt out que like twinks in xp off bracket rip 29 39 twinks those were fun days. I have yet to see anyone peddle any faction war stuff nobody cares
