Shows it requires level 45.
That’s arbitrarily uncool.
It only shows that in the sell description to characters below 45.
The pterrodax mount doesn’t.
Both also say requires apprentice riding.
Artifact of building on top of an existing mount’s template?
Or hint that it will have some crazy dynamic flying special not suited for low levels? (one can dream)
But it does look horribly painful to sit on, with the character bent back for some reason.
dragonflying?
Must be a tool tip issue or something than. I just logged into a level 35 druid I have and was able to summon the mount. I purchased it on a level 70, but i had no issues.
Well, it won’t be called dragonriding any more when it’s expanded beyond dragons in 11.0.
The gryphon from the preorder replaces the whirling surge with its own unique move (a longer version of surge forward with diminshed turning speed while it’s active ). This leads to some speculation that different mount families will have slightly different variations of vigor abilities.
That is what I was guessing, just a failure to remove some text code in the selling description. Would like to see if anyone has purchased it on a below level 45 character and was able to learn it, because I wasn’t willing to risk the coin…lol
blizzard has been absolutely abysmal with their tooltips this expansion. there are so many hidden -isms on loot/items because it’s not clear.
I just went to warcraft mounts and this is what they say… Level 10

Might be a display bug then. Or just a bug like the millions of others we’ve experienced this expansion.
