So how long before we ask for rogue two hand spec? Imagine the backstabs
We’re talking about upkeep buffs overall.
Yes, SnD as Mut is stupid easy, fire and forget for PvE, much more annoying in BGs.
But not so much as other specs.
I have tried so hard to play a balance druid. I really enjoy most of the druid fantasy. But the eclipse system makes absolutely no sense. Cast an arcane spell x2 to empower you nature spells, like wtf even is that? Also, for a spec called “balance” the tree sure does have a very heavy emphasis on the arcane and Elune side of it. My Tauren druid wants to be a An’she and nature follower. But no, I have to focus on Elune. There aren’t even any Tauren Mu’sha spell references.
Slice and Dice is a cool spell though at least thematically. A rogue being able to speed up his attack speed. Also the visual effect is nice. Maybe it’s not all that effective? If that’s the case they could buff it. Haven’t played a rogue much lately.
Didn’t they do something similar with a feral druid ability that had a similar effect?
Anyways, Blizz should make stuff like this a choice node where there is an active and a passive, let the active be slightly better, and the min/max crowd can have their tryhard version, and players that don’t care can take the passive, it really won’t matter unless you are a top 5% player anyways.
How else are you gonna cut your food ?
Because some weirdos like spending resources on maintenance buffs.
Because some people just don’t feel special if they don’t have 30 keybinds for their world content.
It’s amusing that Sub is the only spec that really has to worry about maintaining it at the moment.
And begs the question why Blizz didn’t just make those passives also. lol
Energy regen is never an issue so I don’t know why S&D exists, if anything it is often competing with other dps abilities throughput. It is BS filler of the highest order.
Because if you only had 3 finishers to maintain, instead of 4, Rogue would be too easy.
During Legion i took it cause i didn’t want to think about the dice rng.
Was good enough the clear the Tower with.
It gives small healing while I slink away
It is a tittle confusing what they decided to unprune, meanwhile warrior arms needs something like heroic strike back and Blizzard just refuse to do it.
They could also just ensure these buffs are baseline. Maintenance buffs suck.
A lot of the unpruning came around the same time classic was blowing up. And as it stands classic still seems to be more popular than retail atm if we look at viewership, discussions, outside community perception, etc.
I think it was Blizzards attempt to appeal to this audience that likes the older version of the game, but they need to learn it’s pointless. A lot of those people are never going to play retail no matter how much you try to undo the changes you’ve made to the game.
Classic just does immersion and RP better. That’s why people like it. That’s why people will sit there doing nothing but autoattacking on a ret Paladin and say they enjoy it.
Retail doesn’t have that same immersion and RP element and I don’t think it ever will, because how does that benefit Mythic+? How does that benefit Mythic Raids and Rated PvP? This is Blizzard and largely the retail communities mindset.
Two different communities. Gotta stop trying to appeal to both.
You can apply that logic to every buff/debuff in the game.
Delete all buffs and enemy debuffs because why not just bake their effects into the baseline classes/mobs?
You can apply that logic to every buff/debuff in the game.
Like what? Battle shout? Combat stances? Or are you really comparing a 100% uptime buff to burst window buffs?
It exists to make Rogues the least played class.
