It does it immediately.
It pops up and then disappears right away.
90% of the time there’s an open window to use it, but sometimes it just deactivates a split second later.
It sounds like you’re second guessing yourself and unable to commit to it. Are you okay Crud? We’re here for you.

because its based on your swing timer, once you get the parry from your MH you need to hit it before your next MH swing.
This isn’t true.
It has stayed before for a few seconds, well after a swing or 2.
have you tried hitting it before it goes away? macro it into sinister strike?
Yes but that’s what I mean.
It deactivates instantly.
I can’t press it.
It pops up and then goes away right away no matter how quick I press it.
It seems to happen soon after I use it, almost like there’s some DR connected to it.
there is no answer except, well, get gud

I use Luxthos and it has a Riposte icon right below my char and glows when it’s ready.
